Holiday Inn & Suites McKinney - N Allen by IHG

We tried to check in late, but were told that our reservation had been canceled and the room had already been given to someone else. The staff was not helpful and simply told us to contact Expedia. We were left stranded at 2:00 a.m. with nowhere to go.

It’s a good stay. Suite this time had no silverware and the fridge was leaning back in the cabinet.

Overall good place to stay

Location to restaurants Hallway smelled, bed uncomfortable, outdated cramped

Staff were very helpful.

The only problem was some loud, drunken guests intermittently running through the halls well into the early hours of Sunday morning, but that's not on the hotel. A friend staying on another floor heard nothing.

The rooms were nice. The hot breakfast was an up-charge(10.81). Had our fill. The bar was closed and so was the evening kitchen menu. Pool was nice indoor size.

Stay ! Clean rooms and comfy beds

Great staff, clean, quiet, great bed. Pillows are soft. Breakfast is very standard.

Yes very beautiful Customer service is super and great

Dislikes: Parking lot had an 18 wheeler with trailer parked in the back taking up over 80' of parking, additional heavy trucks with trailers taking up a huge amount of parking spaces. This means the parking for regular customers is packed and may not have a slot if you come in after 9:00 pm. All the room lights are dim and was not able to see to shave in the bathroom. The shower knob was not attached correctly to the faucet and would come off. The shower hand wand was not working and didn't see a way to turn in on. The staff said it had a knob to turn it on but didn't find one.

Very professional staff. Clean room. Great atmosphere. I would definitely recommend

☹️ Breakfast

Breakfast

The breakfast staff were kind and generous. Thank you so much.

Great! Would stay again!

The first impression was "this place smells so good, feels like home" Clean room, enough packing spaces, helpful management team, really nice maids 👍, excellent location. The breakfast was great we enjoyed.

Property was great! The only thing that was inconvenient was that the key cards wouldn’t unlock surrounding entrances of the building. Entry was only allowed at main entrance. Key cards would also stop working after a certain amount of hours. It was frustrating going all the way to your floor and going all the way down cause the key cards wouldn’t unlock would deactivate
