Always a great place to stay!

I was pleasantly surprised about the breakfast because it was unlike any other breakfasts I have seen in hotels. I enjoyed the fact that you could create your own omelet. The tables in the breakfast area were good, minus the booth because it seemed like you sat really low. The location seemed a little sketchy to me but I loved there were many eating establishments within a walking distance and downtown along the river was enjoyable. Thank you for having the appliances as well as utensils in the room! It helped when we went out to eat to come back and eat in the room. I didn't like how the bed was facing the air conditioning unit because when it turned on, my husband and I were both cold. We have to turn the air up so it wouldn't come on as much. It would be nice to have a shelf in the shower to put our soap and/or washcloth.

Best breakfast ever in a hotel

Nicely decorated and comfortable .. wonderful breakfast Two people entered the room on check out day.. without knocking .. the first time was the person cleaning .. I have no idea who the second one was or why she did .. I called the front desk to verify the time to check out earlier so we were surprised that happened. it made us very uncomfortable

Unique architecture, nice room, outdoor patio. Downtown location within walking distance of several nice restaurants, concert arena and John Deere museum.

Everything was wonderful except that check in was 3:00 and we arrived at 5:00 and our room was not ready. The staff quickly made it possible to check in about 15-20 minutes later, however, after a long day’s journey, we were tired and wanted to relax in our room, not in the lobby.

We loved this hotel and can’t wait to return everything was perfect!

I booked my stay at least 4 months in advance to see a concert across the street. Prior to my stay, I was contacted by the hotel via email asking me to confirm my stay. I responded to the email and confirmed that we would be there. I received a second email also asked me if we were going. So that time I called to confirm and spoke to them and they took my information and confirmed. That was the day before our arrival. The day of our arrival, we went to check in and were advised our stay was canceled. The front desk advised that they had tried to process my card on file—which we weren’t advised of, the booking was made to pay at check out and when my card didn’t work they cancelled our room. No call, no email, no request to update payment (my bank was bought out by a larger bank and I was issued a new card), just a cancellation. Sadly I won’t be staying here again.

Staff was so professional. Very easy hotel experience.
