Monterey Plaza Hotel & Spa

I liked the valet service because it was such a unique experience not having to find parking in Monterey. I also liked the idea of walking over the street on the third floor skywalk to my room. I liked breathing in the fresh ocean air coming in through the windows of my room.

Beautiful location. Staff throughout hotel complex was pleasant and attentive. Convenient to wide variety of activities No microwave in our room.

dated but beautiful property with amazing views

Room was clean and spacious. Location was excellent with walking distance to both Fishermans Warf and Cannery Row. Restaurant on site has a great atmosphere with outside seat right on the ocean. Highly recommend!

Good location

Location was the best, only stayed one night and watched sea otters from our room.

The hotel is located in an excellent location at the end of Cannery Row, and our stay was very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. My daughter had a massage at the spa and rated it as 10 out of 10. She also utilized the hot tub which has a great view of the ocean. We loved having a drink in the lounge in the evening, listening to the music and enjoying the views. I would recommend this hotel.

Very clean property and great location!

The room was clean. The view was spectacular. Didn’t get a chance to eat at their restaurant since I had a one night stay. Definitely will recommend it if your in the area.

Great location. Easy check in. Clean! Parking convenient! Got a spot on street before opting for valet. Much less expensive.

Exceptional

Exceptionally well presented hotel with everything very well done and, location, location, location.

The best hotel I’ve stayed it! I got the best sleep on that bed and all the amenities we were obsessed. We didn’t want to leave!

But the most impressive was the restaurants. We had a dinner at Coastal Kitchen and brunch next day at Schooners. Both were excellent in terms of food, view, atmosphere, and service. The night scene from Coastal Kitchen was most memorable, and the morning sea from the patio deck at Schooners was unforgettable. What was so exciting at Schooners was that the sun was rising from the sea, which in our mind was a mystery because we were on the West Coast where the sun usually sets. Why did it decide to go up from West this morning? The thought entertained us for quite some time. There are not that many hotels that we look forward to going back, but this Monterey Plaza is surely one of them.

Hot pool was great also. Not many option on food menu.
