Location and pool Smoke alarms went off multiple times starting at 6am Saturday until about 730am. I had to find a maintenance person in the hallway to confirm the problem wasn’t an active fire. Front desk didn’t answer when I called to inquire. There was also no follow up or apology from anyone after the incident.

Breakfast was good, but lunch was not. No flavor and dry dishes. No sauce/gravy on top. Would not use it for dinner again. Improve the menu for dinner

Blah. Waitress was preoccupied and we had to ask for tgings and noticed other wait staff very attentive to their tables. Room had a musty mildew smell as you walked in. Bath was immediately to Left was this only areacwithbodoras rest of room seemed fine. Showecdrain was so slow made exiting too slippery. Long hair from previous guest was also still visible in shower. Fire alarm sounded and the communication of no actual danger not announced. The desk staff waited for people to approach as if waiting on customers with line forming to let us know we could return to our room.

The grounds are beautiful and you can easily walk to events for Applejacks Festival. If you get lucky and can dine outside on a cool cloudy day it is so peaceful.

Location and ambiance. Lighting over sink not very bright. Lack of places to put things. Some shelves in bathroom area would have been nice.

I wish I could have stayed longer. Great views, delicious food in the restaurant and really gives you the lodge feel. Totally clean room and very friendly staff. Totally recommend!

Very pretty place.

This is one of the most unique properties we have ever stayed at. It has a warm lodge feel with exposed timbers and wood accents along with large fireplace next to cozy leather chairs. The library lounge is a great place to sit and play cards for hours while drinking a good beverage and great food

Just seeing the architecture of Lied Lodge makes it worth the visit. This beautiful building is a combination of stone, brick and timber, and the entrances have lovely large doors that have unique brass handles. When you enter the lobby it’s spectacular with a very high ceiling, lots of glass and timbers, and a view of the wooded valley behind. There’s a spacious open deck with several seating options that is perfect for enjoying the view. Guest rooms line the long hallways on four levels and each has floor to ceiling wooden pillars within as part of the decor. You’ll find friendly and helpful staff, and two options for sit-in dining as well as room service. The pool is large and well lit with natural light from windows on both sides and a fenced in patio connected to the outside. There is a hot tub beside the pool as well as a small wading pool for little ones. You also have the option of booking a massage in the spa, for an additional fee. I love staying at Lied Lodge!

The overnight staff could have been more proactive at prepping us for what the morning would look like. We werent given a map or anything when we arrived. The lodge is also not pet friendly which was a bummer for us. Overall was a great stay.
