Comfortable, friendly staff. Coffee and water downstairs. Near subway trains, a little noisy

The staff was helpful and room was pleasant. No food or meals offered in the hotel. My issue re- hotel was mainly its location. There is on-going construction in the streets close to hotel. Location on Main Street Broadway Ave and was metro accessible. Although Metro stop is not senior friendly. Use "UBER" to commute back to the hotel at night. The hotel lobby needs improvement. The location of the hotel is my main issue. Perhaps after on-going city construction, the area will improve.

I had a brief but enjoyable stay at Hotel 1080. I’d like to say in particular that Lerron (hope that’s right) was graceful, kind, of great assistance and extremely competent. The accommodations were great, comfortable bed, nice size bathroom. Clean room. Really suited my purpose. my only regret was that I didn’t have the opportunity to visit the adjoining bar. The music sounded inviting and having a few drinks, listening to good music then taking an elevator back to your room sounds perfect. I will absolutely look forward to doing that when I return.

We had to wait 30 minutes to get checked in after arriving at 7:30pm and driving 10 hours. The night-staff were incredibly helpful and understanding of our situation, I can't thank them enough for that, The room was relatively tidy, beds were made and the sheets seemed clean, although somethings were missed like the smoke detector covered with dried out toilet paper and floors were sticky. The bathroom door did not close properly or lock, seemingly broken. The room was very tiny. There was no fridge in the room for storing food or grocery items. Starting at 7am there was a loud drilling coming from the room directly beside ours, it went on for several hours before I banged hard on the wall and it stopped. When we checked out and brought this up to the manager, he denied it was the hotel and suggested it was something outside. Our room had a front facing window and we could visibly see nobody doing work outside. Other than that minor stuff, it was a decent place to stay on a "budget".

The elevated J train track was literally outside our window--quite noisy. The room itself was fine-- clean and semi-recently updated. However the hallways and elevator were very outdated and dirty. I have stayed in much nicer hotels in NYC for the same price so likely would not stay here again.

Rahul da goat The shower temp was either the sun's core or the vacuum of space

The location is convenient and the staff is very friendly. I was impressed with the attention to detail by manager Ruhul who worked with us with our changes in plans. The only comment is that the location is not particularly quiet so keep that in mind and bring earplugs if needed.

Definitely stay again!

First of all, the location is terrible. The area felt unsafe, with homeless people and people openly using drugs around the hotel. The rooms are extremely small, and the beds were very uncomfortable. There were no slippers, no toothpaste, and not even complimentary water in the room. There was no proper duvet either—just a blanket wrapped in a bedsheet. The noise was also a major problem. There was constant noise at all hours coming from the neighboring rooms, upstairs, downstairs, and throughout the hotel. The overall quality of the guests was also very poor, which made the stay even more uncomfortable. The only positive part of my stay was the Bangladeshi receptionist who helped me when I checked out. He was very kind and professional, and I really appreciate his service. Other than that, everything about this hotel was disappointing. I would not recommend staying here. Spend an extra $100 and stay somewhere better—you will save yourself a lot of stress and discomfort.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. 5 stars there! but the actual hotel just wasnt what i was expecting the pictures were a bit deceiving, there was a weird smell in the halls and in the rooms that never went away. i kind of felt dirty during the stay and didnt want to even walk on the floors without shoes lol also the music from the bar/club plays very loud literally all night so expect that while youre trying to sleep

Our room was filled with cigarette and weed smoke on the second night along with thumping bass that I assume came from the bar on the first floor. Loud voices from a party drifted in through the hvac vents. I called the front desk and they said they'd look into it but nothing changed until late in the night. The next night we had thumping bass until almost 1am. Not a good place to sleep, which is all I wanted.

The staff and management is very friendly and helpful

For the price it was a great stay! Definitely bring earplugs in case the bar downstairs has an event (only happened 1 out of the 3 nights and it was over by 2am) and if you're not used to the train (we had a window facing the street/train) but once ear plugs were in you couldn't hear anything! Staff was attentive when we needed more pillows and towels, overall very clean hotel/room. Loved the smoking area out in the back. A/C in the room was nice and cold. Would 10/10 stay here again, such a great location to see the best of Brooklyn!

Neighborhood is rough around the edges. Vagrants, graffiti, and a lot of train construction. You are very accessible to more desirable neighborhoods to drink, eat, and shop.

Small bed. Nothing in room. Old furniture. Tiny sink.
