Parking was terrible, maybe validate parking if parking on the street. Garage was a 5 min walk away from hotel.

The convenient location to the subway and LIRR The air conditioning was broken in my original room and I had to be moved to a smaller room. The sign on the door was a piece of paper. There were stains on the mattress. There were marks on the walls and one of the columns in the room was all broken apart. The was dirt collected in all corners of the room and bathroom.

We were really scared from the reviews online but upon arrival they have made us looked into the room and see if we were happy. We had the grand suite which is the bigger room. Everything was fine in general. The staff was very lovely and they were trying their best to be helpful hence the higher rating. The area has great shops , takeouts and access to subways. Area can be sketchy. The bedsheets could have been better for the duvet. Some didn’t feel clean. The carpet was not vacuumed everywhere and could see a lot of dust. The shower handle didn’t work. The housekeeping could be better at handling some things.

Broken AC our entire stay. Peeling wallpaper and moldy walls. Room did not have towels.

The pictures show off the look but nothing is as it seems. The bar is not in service, the AC didn't work in the hotel except for the basement. We walked in the room there were no towels, a light was out over the bed, the staff made a ton of noise in the hallway at like 2 am. There's no parking past 7am. There is a near by garage on fulton i recommend going to. It was like facade was nice but everything was just so plain.

This place was a disaster the paint was falling off the walls, plaster falling off, dusty vents, water would keep running after it was turned off, fixtures came off while using the shower, towels were dingy and to add insult to injury we were informed last min at check in that there was no working AC. They weren't even sure they could provide a fan.

There was a mishap with air conditioning in the room we had booked and we got put in a basement room with only one bed, when we had booked a two queen bed room. The receptionists said it would only be for a night and we ended up in the same room for our entire stay. There was no breakfast as was promised and the wi-fi did not work great. We understood they wanted us to be comfortable in a room with ac, and i was thankful we still got a room but this was not what we had booked. We heard many people getting turned away for this exact reason. No compensation was offered, and we will not stay at the Brooklyn Hotel again.

I definitely feel like I got my moneys worth I read the reviews there are some minor issues but my stay was great I would definitely come again

The hotel was ok. The location was the best part. When we arrived we were told the ac wasn’t working and offered a discount :) . Fortunately the nights were cooler and we could open the windows, we borrowed a fan from nearby relative. unfortunately we were next to the train so very noisy! Shower knob was broken, very little privacy in the the bathroom area glass door was broken

They waived my early check in fee bc the ac was broken. Half the stuff was broken, no breakfast that they advertised, the linen was all stained. I had to go ask for towels bc none were provided.

Omg do not go here, literally find somewhere else. Just save yourself the headache

room was clean but bathroom shower handle was loose and floor had missing tiles. the door to the toilet was broken off of it's top hinge and scraped on the floor when i opened it. staff was helpful enough and room was nice otherwise! neighborhood is loud but its brooklyn so what else to expect. had a perfectly average trip.

The only nice thing I can say is that our bathroom was reasonably sized. When we arrived to check in, we were told that the room we paid for didn`t have working AC so we could either take that room with an additional fan or try a basement room with no window. There was no offer to provide a discount or prorated room, or a warn us before we arrived. We decided to take the basement room and it went downhill from there. The room had no towels of any kind when we arrived, the floor outside of the room was sticky, the towels we did receive (after requesting) were like rags and old, our room door had a paper sign taped to the door to show our room number. To make it worse, the walls are thin and the basement is used by the staff so you can hear people coming and going and chewing gum all hours of the morning. This hotel was definitely not worth the money!

Rooms are in very poor conditions, the room we was assigned had no phone to even call up to the reception, no water, the HVAC was not working, the walls were stained, the towels were stained we understand things like this are not the receptionist fault he did his best to accommodate us, yet the hotel in Itself…never again

When we arrived they told us the air conditioning was broken. We had to find another hotel. The neighborhood was rather sketchy

The room suck and I need my 100 dollars back

No AC in my room or on the entire floor on one of the hottest days in September. I was offered a basement room with no windows for the same price when I ask questions, I realized that it wasn’t the same as the other hotel rooms. Many people left with their money back, but on Labor Day weekend, it’s hard to find anything at all no matter how much you pay and I drove up all the way from North Carolina to see my infant son. The room was so hot that I couldn’t keep him there.

Staff, clean couch, working air condition, working items, fix defective stuff in d hotel, staff needs uniforms, lobby need to sanitizer and proper tables. , garbage outside hotel, working room phones
