Convenient location. The room was nice, but the toilet didn’t flush easily. We were also woken up both mornings by noise from the elevator, even though our room wasn’t next to it. Starting around 8 a.m., we could hear housekeeping staff talking loudly and cleaning nearby rooms.

They only take cash and the atm in the lobby charges over $4.00 for a convenience fee. None of this was on the Expedia website.

Great hotel for a stay in NYC! The room was nice (we even had 2 bathrooms), it was clean, and the beds were comfortable. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The location was good for us—it was an easy walk from Grand Central, for the train and the subway. We had a drink at the bar on our way out for the night. It was a little pricey (expected for a NYC hotel), but the atmosphere and the service made it worth the little splurge. I definitely would stay here again.

Fun historic hotel in a pretty central location. Decor throughout hotel and our room was aesthetically appealing. Zero problems with anything except for the ice from the ice maker smelled “unpleasant” so we did not use it. Great price for a weekend stay!

Good location, the bed was comfortable. Our show was canceled so spent extra time wondering the city, but also was able to hang out in the room and watch TV a bit from the rain. Room was a bit warm. The air conditioner wasn't in very good shape. Also the pillows were too soft, not much neck support.
