Norfolk Waterside Marriott

Exceptional

Delay getting my room but it was a busy weekend with college sports teams staying at the hotel. Beautiful room. Would definitely go back

Great hotel that is conveniently located close to other places of interest in downtown Norfolk. A really nice area visit!

The hotel overall is beautiful. No microwave in the room.

Not worth it

Great place to stay! Very clean!

Room clean and spacious

My hotel room was very clean and updated! Big bathroom with a large shower. The rest of the hotel seemed to be well kept. Staff was friendly. The only downside was check in. Very small area when you initially arrive to check in and unload your vehicle. Had to wait in a long line of cars out front to be able to pull into the designated unload/load area.

Checking in is an inconvenience on the weekends. Rooms were not ready and there was a hour or more wait in line.

The hotel was nice. I was unhappy with all the miscommunication I was given on the phone a week prior when I called. I was giving the wrong information about parking prices, incidental fees. I was told there wasn’t any but I knew better than that. The 2nd day the water was very cold all day. One employee was very kind at checkout and made sure everything was ok.

Checking in and out. Downtown location was fine Air conditioner/ heating system was extremely loud when the fan came on and off.

Great stay.

Our room was spacious, clean and had a nice view. Only complaint was the shower, the handle was messed up and we couldn't get it to work. But only a one night stay, so not a huge problem. Also, don't use the creamers in the room for coffee, they were all spoiled! Overall, fantastic stay for an amazing event!!

Toilet kept running

I have no dislikes at the moment.

It was quite and I had access to the Vip lounge, which was cool. Didn't get a chance to go to the pool or gym this time. A plus for me that it was with in multiple restaurants so I didn't have to drive or take an Uber anywhere. Will definitely stay again. I also was able to check in early which is a plus. Most places you have to wait until 4pm to check in. I have no dislikes at the moment.
