Comfort Inn Okemos - East Lansing

Good value for the stay.

The gal at the desk when we arrived was very friendly and helpful, our room was clean and we had no issues with parking at all. We were in town for a football game weekend and felt like we were in a perfect location. Easy on/off access to the highway, gas stations, food, etc. Will definitely stay here again.

Convenient place to stay for the price!

Nice mid range hotel that’s close enough to MSU without being in the chaos of it.

Hotel needs to be refreshed. Carpets were spotty. Breakfast area way too cramped. Pillows were small and not overly comfortable.

The property is excellent. It is clean and well maintained. However it is dated. In is a trip back in time almost. Didn’t bother me but just know before you go.

Excessive mildew and residue on the air-conditioning unit, excessive markings and stains on the wall things I could easily wipe up myself. My main comforter had yellow stains about the size of a banana that I didn’t realize until under the blankets the sheets had hair and dustings as if they weren’t changed out it overall felt uncomfortable staying there, and I don’t have the highest of standards.

Clean room and excellent staff

The best thing about the Comfort Inn were the staff. Always friendly, helpful and tried to address any concerns.

The stay was fine, but unfortunately, I did find a 10 inch hair on my scrambled eggs at breakfast. I notified the front desk. She said she was sorry.

Breakfast was good. Bed was too mushy.

Late night check in and early departure, but the room and bathroom were clean, the beds were comfortable and the staff was courteous. Nothing to complain about.

Clean and friendly will stay there again

a bit dirty but not too bad. beds were comfy, but bed sheets were not fresh and this is what concerned me a lot. seems like they were NOT changed after previous guests

quiet, bed was comfortable; internet good; shower clean, roomy, and plenty of hot water; very good breakfast (included), good location for dinner/lunch options and freeway access a bit hard to find the facility, seemed like room AC could just keep up with heat/humidity during the day

Room was larger than expected, clean and cozy.

Clean and extended our stay 2 days

As a solo female traveler I frequently felt unsafe, the first night I even considered calling the cops for how loud the room next door was with shouting at eachother, but it died down by 10. Late one night when I tried to get to my room there was a man sleeping in the hall way where I tried to get in. Also, my room had a worn out key reader, so I frequently had to try my card 1-3 dozen times each time I wanted to get in to my room. I even had the cards switched out for new ones and had the same problem. Breakfast was really lack luster. The stairwells looked like they weren't cleaned. The room itself was clean enough, but smelled like it had been smoked in. The experience overall was bad. I ended up staying with nearby family for my last night rather than stay here. Def don't recommend. I'm not sure why the ratings are so high.
