Holiday Inn Express & Suites Okemos - University Area by IHG

We’ve stayed here twice a year since this hotel opened and this is the first time I didn’t give all excellent ratings. The desk attendant was not overly nice; she didn’t seem to worry about how I had to walk through the rain to enter the front door when the auto lock in the back was not functioning; I said you could at least post a sign and her comment was “maintenance will be fixing it Friday (2 days from now); there were no trash cans in the back parking lot (especially needed for road weary travelers); there was mold in our shower; and our bedspread was ripped. Overall a big disappointment from previous years.

Who have treated very unfairly? There will blood spills in our bathtub. Google told we were gonna get a car back by the manager at the facility. And through booking dot com, no cars will return

The first night the heat did not work in the room but the next night they switched me to a room with no problems at all. Have always had a great stay at this location

Everything was great. I didn’t eat breakfast but the room was clean & my stay what I expected-easy check in & easy checkout.

Always enjoy our stays here

Staff was amazing. We requested a crib and there was not one when we arrived at the room. Front desk got one within 5 minutes.

Great hotel for the price. Would definitely stay again in the future.
