Very good
-
Staff was excellent.restaurant was very good.
-
Great stay all the way around except for the happy hour food which was not high quality at all (stale flavorless deviled eggs on old wilted greens, and none of the other HH items were available for some reason).
-
It is such a cute old school feel. Very clean and cozy. Will totally be staying here again in the future!

Proximity to the Orpheum Theatre, the Old Market, the Urban Abbey and The Durham Museum The heavy sliding door to the bathroom

This is the second time I have stayed at Magnolia and I absolutely love it! The building has so much history to it and is beautiful! The beds are very comfortable and the rooms very clean. The location of the property is walking distance to the Old Market and The Orpheum Theatre and many food places. Love this place!
-
I liked the place alot clean and pretty big. With an added bonus of the couple of restaurants close by.
-
Perfect stay if you are going to a performance at the Orpheum Theater.
-
Unique, beautiful, excellent experience. Our curtains were broken is our only bummer.
-
I had to speak to the receptionist to get the rate that we received when we booked. She looked after us, but it shouldn't have been an issue in the first place.

Jack was so kind and helpful at checkin! He is very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Kattie at the restaurant was so sweet and a great server. The room and property were just gorgeous. The free milk and cookies were tasty and such a fun treat! Dinner at Olive and Ira’s was delicious and affordable.

Staff were wonderful. Bar closes much to early. 10pm

The hotel is a beautiful older building, it has many charming characters which I do love, but the room feel stuffy, carpet need replace, pillows and mattress not comfortable. They do not have fitted sheet, just flat king size sheet so it's too long, few times I trip over it. I stayed at indigo no charge for parking but magnolia charge $32 per day. There are no daily cleaning service. I would not stay here again

The lobby was nice and historic. Was clean and kept nice. For the price that it cost to stay here we were expecting better. The beds were super uncomfortable. Couldn’t sleep well. There was no microwave to heat up leftovers. The bathroom provided hardly any room for toiletries. We didn’t get enough towels in the room and no waters included. My son had to go down to pay a stupid amount for waters. Parking was a astonishing 30 dollars a day extra. Very disappointed in this stay and hotel and would not be back.

The free coffee was excellent and very hot. The staff, esp. Izzy, were kind and helpful. Thanks!

The hotel was very unique and had lovely decor. My favorite touch was the milk and cookies beside the fireplace in the evening. Well done!!
