Hotel Ursa

What a great hotel located on the University of Maine campus. The room was VERY clean. The price was fantastic. My only slight complaint was the lack of signage outside. I wasn’t sure when I first arrived if I was in the right place for parking and I had a little trouble trying to figure out which building was which but it all worked out!!!

We were traveling to Canada through Bangor and decided to stop because cheaper hotel rooms were not available but it scored high on reviews. We were nicely surprised that it was on Maine’s University in a wonderful location that was easy to get to. Rooms were better than expected. Clean comfortable and a wonderful shower. No breakfast but the cafe was wonderful.

Everything was wonderful! The best and most reasonable rate of anywhere we stayed in Maine.

Beautiful unique hotel on U Maine Orono campus. Part of the hotel is located in a renovated historic campus building and has retained many of the features of the original building while being updated and modern as well. Overall a lovely stay!

Great location as I was attending a meeting on campus. Clean and very spacious room. Had an issue with the door lock not sticking when leaving the room but I was only there a short time and reported it to front desk staff.

Super convenient in the heart of campus. Free parking. Easy check in and check out. Clean and quiet.

The property is on the actual campus of the university of Maine. Room looks brand new and was quiet. A few miles off the highway but would recommend.

It's a great place to stay, the property is very clean and well-managed. Front desk staff are really nice and helpful, also we love that it's inside the campus of UofM. Super safe and accessible, and only 1 hr to Bar Harbor which is very convenient. I recommend it if you plan to visit both Bangor and Bar Harbor.

Lovely hotel (adaptive reuse of a few University of Maine buildings) with s great cafe.

The room was very big and very clean. The hotel in general is very clean. The wifi was a little slow. Staff was polite and helpful.

Hotel Ursa was truly a hidden gem! We were super pleased with the quaint hotel room that was clean and safe. I am picky with hotels and we were weary being right on the college campus but it’s just a coincidence that this hotel was on the UMaine property. It was a wonderful experience staying for the night and we’d happily be back! The pillows were very comfy too! Small fridge, comfy chair in the corner, large bathroom… can’t beat this hotel especially for the price!

I stay here every time I come to Orono. It is very nice and so convenient.

The beds were exceptionally comfortable, the room impeccably clean. The parking was very convenient a short walk to the building we were staying in, which was Polaris. the man who checked us in, was so pleasant and personable, filled us in on the history of the property. I would stay there again and again. the only thing is the breakfast closed quite early. thank you hotel Ursa. Also, the design, like calming colors of walls, artwork and the furniture was excellent. The Lesure family enjoyed their stay.
