Avalon Hotel & Bungalows Palm Springs, a Member of Design Hotels

Rooms are small no real sitting area or table. Grounds are beautiful

Great location.

Loved it! Quiet and peaceful ... not a "scene"!

The amenities are excellent, with a lovely spa, a well-equipped gym, and three beautiful pools to enjoy. What truly stood out, however, was the staff. Everyone was exceptionally kind, welcoming, and attentive, and the service was flawless throughout my stay. Although the property was undergoing renovations during my visit, the professionalism and thoughtfulness of the staff made them almost unnoticeable and did not take away from my experience. A beautiful property with wonderful amenities and, above all, an outstanding team. I would happily return!

Such a cute resort in a great location!

Excellent property!! Under some renovations, but I think that is to be expected as we visited during low season (August). Super friendly staff, beautiful property, fabulous time!

Amazing location, amazing amenities, and an absolutely amazing staff! This was just what we were looking for our “Old Hollywood” vacation.

The restaurant/bar area are being renovated until December. Hotels are much less fun without a bar.

We went as a family of four and had purchased a room with two queen beds. We were offered an upgrade for an additional fee and decided to take it. I loved the fact that we had plenty of space to rest and relax. The pool was clean and dinner was delicious! The staff were courteous and professional. The only thing that was hard to deal with was the heat, which affected the temperature of the room and the pool, but that is beyond anyone's control. The AC helped cool the room in the evening, so it was better in the mornings. I would visit in the future during a cooler season.

Excellent location close to cafes & shops but quiet . It is an oasis in the desert . It offers hotel suites & bungalow accommodation . There are 2 pools with ample seating Beautifully maintained gardens The staff go out of their way to help . Excellent housekeeping & lovely Aesop products

Only one family pool. Pools were extremely clean, gym and other amenities were very well maintained. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Perfect access to the courtyard and pool. Restaurant Chi Chi had excellent food and drinks. Very convenient side pool Service - amazing service!! Great ambiance throughout the property. We were walking distance to downtown Palm Springs. Staff at front desk was the best. And the best part are the beautiful views of the local mountains and sunsets. Palm trees & moon. Wonderful sitting areas!! Overall our stay was excellent and we would highly recommend.

Not sure why people have written bad reviews about this place. Our stay was amazing and this is now my new favorite spot in Palm Springs (I travel a lot for work). Miguel at the front desk was very welcoming and provided me and my wife complementary wine upon arrival. The food was amazing (branzino filet, lobster sliders, fish ceviche, and popcorn chicken). The grounds were very clean. There is a family/kid friendly pool that my son enjoyed. All the workers from the restaurant waiter to the bartender to the pool waiter were exceptional. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Very good.

p.s. the pull out sofa is not that comfy but a small price to pay for the excellent service and beautiful grounds and pool you get to enjoy. Would stay here again!

Great area, beautiful grounds, amazing professional staff.

The staff was awesome. Everyone was friendly and very helpful!

Would love to come visit again.

This is a beautiful property in the heart of Palm Springs. It is a short walk to downtown and the property felt secluded and quiet. They had fun music playing at the pool during the day but never too loud. Multiple small pools and lots of greenery.

Love this jewel of PS classy hotel ❤️

Staff is wonderful. Friendly and accommodating. When we checked out after a six night stay, we felt like we were leaving family!
