Morris House Hotel

Location was fabulous and walkable to Old Town, Museum Mile and South side. Original character and decor appreciated. Boutique and unique. Outstanding breakfast and afternoon snack. The staff was quirky. I think the layout made two staff members suspicious if I was a guest as you cant always see when a guest comes in. One staff member never acknowledged us.

Location & comfort Price of using a parking garage.

Fantastic location with clean and comfortable rooms. The continental breakfast room works great, and the staff that maintains it were amazing. It was always clean, organized, and well stocked. Noise from the subway in rooms 401 and 501 can be an issue when trying to sleep, but we adjusted to it after the first day.

This hotel was a wonderful place to stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful.

Adorable! It's a historic building so it has a lot of character. The staff was helpful and friendly. The hotel is close to everything. We loved it!

My husband called the hotel “charming” and that’s not a word I’ve heard from him in almost 47 years. Staff showed him around and he felt right at home. Unfortunately the restaurant is closed on Monday..next time we’ll stay later in the week.

This historic property was exactly what we love. Our room and bed was very comfortable and cozy. The hotel is charming. Loved it so much.

A delightful place to stay

Lovely old original Philadelphia home, now a hotel. It is well maintained and clean with appropriate furnishings and linen. Staff is friendly and informed. Breakfast is above average self service.

The Morris House is special. You're walking on floors and looking at woodwork that has been there since colonial times. There is literally nothing I can think of to offer as a needed improvement. Don't change a thing!

A charming and hospitable bed and breakfast.

The Morris House is an incredible historic home. You can feel the history just coming out of the woodwork and antiques throughout. My room was comfortable and large. My only issue was the stairs necessary to get to it. If you have any health concerns you need to ask what floor your room is on as there is no elevator, That mistake was totally on me as they warn you in their material.
