Hilton Garden Inn Pittsburgh University Place

Bad

so kind and friendly and wonderful w our pet!

The hotel was nice and staff were great. They need to service the Peloton bike in the gym !!

love my view of the cathedral of learning lit up at night

Parking is quite expensive at $40 per night. Signage is somewhat deceptive as one might initially think cost is $10 per night.

Near by everything we needed. Clean and comfortable rooms. Staff very friendly and helpful. First time ever using valet parking very nice service. Buffet breakfast was expensive $17/pp. I didn’t see what food they were offering but that price is kinda high.

This is a tired hotel. Carpets and furniture are stained and there are gashes in doors. During our 3 day stay we received no room service as staff were confused about our booking of 2 days plus a separate booking of one day, which I explained when checking in. Would not recommend.

Convenient location to university.

The staff was lovely, friendly and helpful. The property was old and showed its age. The furniture was damaged and the linens were tattered.

I like how close I was to my daughter dorm room!! And the place was beautiful inside!!!

The staff was wonderful, and the lobby was very nice. Someone else's hair was in the shower, which made me question how well it was cleaned. The doors slammed shut, which was pretty loud. The water pressure continuously changed.

Would have preferred a la carte breakfast. I would not pay 17.00buffet price for toast and apple.

Pleasant

Superb

Staff was very hospitable.

Even though the hotel seemed dated, it was clean and the staff was great.

Room was clean, tip-please consider doing away with bars of soap- use the pumps instead

Room carpet needs to cleaned or pulled. Could smell the carpet when the air was off. Everything was good. Breakfast and dinner was great. Staff was helpful.

Proximity to UPMC

Very nice stay.
