Holiday Inn Express Richmond - Midtown by IHG

The entrance is not as attractive as most Holiday Inn Expresses I have seen. But once you get inside everything is up to high standards. The breakfast was nicely laid out and dining area was very roomy and nice.

Cleanliness, proximity to where I needed to go the morning after stay, breakfast. Mattress was too soft for me & I didn't sleep well. Also ,the pool was not open and that was a disappointment!

Comfortable beds, great breakfast selection Not quite as clean as expected. Doors/handles and light switches should be wiped. Around edges of bathroom. Moved a tiny table over a bit and the floor was obviously not cleaned under it. Yuck.

Able to check in early. Good fresh hot coffee available at any hour. Good snack and beverage selection in pantry. Nice selection available for complimentary breakfast.

The room does not equip with tea kettle so you cannot enjoy a cup of tea of coffee at your leisure. Other than that the room is spacious with two queen sized beds.

I just founded ridiculous that they expect to get paid separately for parking. They are not in a city location Or a busy area. Parking is on an abandoned parking lot, not in good condition, area and empty stores around

Customer service is OK but when I go there they give it already called them to be late but they gave it to somebody else they cancel my reservation Unprofessional

Exceptional

Room was clean and great size. Staff was kind and very helpful. The breakfast left something to be desired, but it was decent for what it was. Ample and easy parking directly behind the hotel.

CLEAN!! Extremely friendly staff. Delicious breakfast with bacon!! Quiet. Location wasn’t great, but the facility absolutely made up for it.

Very pleased with our stay. The room on the 7th floor was very clean and smelled fresh, and because of that we had a very good night rest. Many things to do near the hotel, including Barnes & Noble and a very good gelato place within a couple of miles away. Staff were very friendly, and we had a very reasonable breakfast before our trek back to the DC area. There is a nominal charge for parking overnight which is somewhat the norm these days.

The fridge didn’t work. They did fix it within a few minutes. The bathroom sink took about 3 minutes to drain after having it on for 30 seconds to 1 minute. The shower was very slippery.

This hotel is essentially in a strip mall parking lot fairly cross to the Willow Lawn area of Richmond which was ideal for us. Because of this it had odd parking around it which appeared to be shared by the strip mall. However we were asked to pay $7 a day to park which I found very odd. The only designated parking was for their diamond members. The outside of the hotel wasn’t in the best shape but the interior made up for it. They have a great lounge area with multiple TV screens, pool table, etc where you could relax. We never took advantage of breakfast as we were visiting local family but it was what you’d typically see in a hotel breakfast and always smelled good.

Proximity to city They charge me 2x for parking when I only had one vehicle.

Every interaction with EVERY front desk employee was outstanding!

Staff was positive and helpful. Breakfast was exceptional. Room was very well maintained.
