Forewarning of a large event during my stay

There for a conference, very nice lobby and atmosphere.

Excellent hotel, no need to leave the property. Restaurant on site, friendly staff.

Just stayed for a night. The room was great. Staff of the hotel were kind and helpful. The only thing negative I have to say is about the restaurant. I asked for a simple replacement because of an allergy and they refused to do it. I wanted to replace beef chorizo with chicken sausage in a breakfast burrito and was told no. Seems like a simple thing to keep a customer happy. I had to order a side of chicken sausage for an extra $5.

The fact that Marriott charged me for the night!!! I booked the room through booking.com. I was double charged.

Starbucks in lobby and location good for access to city and local restaurants. Room was very tired and poorly maintained. Curtains hanging off rail, shower rail rusty and shower curtain stained, pillows lumpy, bathroom not thoroughly cleaned. Many pieces of equipment in gym not working.

The property was great, however the company they use for valet parking was very poorly run. Unfortunately that tarnished the stay somewhat due to the poor service.

Great location, clean, comfortable, plenty of parking nearby This is now my third stay at this location and while I do enjoy the visit itself every time, checking in and out has seemed to become a headache every time I visit. I’m not sure if it is something that happens with booking through Booking.com, but for some reason the full amount of my stay is always billed upon checking in, even though I pre pay for my stay months in advance. It is fine if that is company policy, but it has never been disclosed to me and always comes as a surprise to me when checking my bank statement. This is now the 2nd time I have had that “temporary hold” actually charged to my account where I have had to verbally request it be refunded to my account days after checking out. Going through this process at the front desk has caused check in/ out to take up to 20 minutes several times now for me, and it is the only hotel I have ever stayed at where it is done this way instead of a flat $50 or so per night as a security hold. While I do enjoy this location a lot, occurrences like this repeatedly happening are decreasing my likelihood of wanting to stay at this location in the coming years. Any feedback regarding these processes and policies would be much appreciated, and I hope to get some clarification on them so I can continue to look forward to staying at this hotel.

Beautiful hotel. Well maintained property. The rooms are very nice and the staff so helpful. I enjoyed my stay at this hotel.

Paying 50.00 to park for like 7 hours....a bit much. Toilet was broke. Check in was inconvenient
