Gorgeous hotel. We were there for an event and the hotel made sure everything went smoothly. There is a coffee shop in the lobby. You MUST try the Butter Pecan Latte! Amazing!

Very good hotel, with excellent bar and coffee shop. Location disappointing, ie on river walk but far from what really happens on the river walk. A/C in the room too cold and virtually impossible to set.

They were very gracious in helping us to find another hotel but we did not get to actually stay at their hotel

Staff was great

From the valet to the front desk customer service was always exceptional. The pool and gym were set apart from other hotels and well maintained. Lighting in the room could be much better for better visibility and would give the room a brighter appeal.

Do not be impressed by the fancy name, nothing special. No privacy in the bathroom- surface mount barn sliding door, toilet tissue bar was installed vertical instead horizontal, on the ceiling there is small blinking light that is so disturbing to sleep. Desk receptionist named Israel not so professional ( he may know how to use computer but not wise to speak with customers). We were charged for checking in earlier ( we arrived there around 1 pm and checking was at 4pm), no accommodation in that manner. First time we have been charged for checking in few hours earlier and he told us that the room is ready, l understand if the room is not ready. Thank you very much for intercontinental “no hospitality “, no more.

I recently stayed at the InterContinental San Antonio and had an outstanding experience. The staff was excellent, consistently warm and attentive, and my room was excellent—comfortable, spotless, and well-appointed. The hotel’s location is ideal, within easy walking distance of the River Walk and plenty of great restaurants. I also enjoyed breakfast at the hotel’s restaurant; the French toast was absolutely awesome and a perfect start to the day. Highly recommended.

The property was clean & super comfortable. The staff were pretty courteous & helpful. I would recommend 10/10

They take making you feel special seriously. The Continental brand hits a home run every time. They all go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and special. I've never stayed at another chain/brand that puts forth such effort so consistently.

Newly renovated and extremely comfortable. While it is on the river walk, it's just outside of the main RW corridor which means it is not overrun with tourists. The entire staff from housekeeping to the front desk were fantastic. You will not be disappointed.

This place was okay, I was unaware of the $150.00 a night security deposits. And the 25.00 a night amenities fees! I book through Expedia so it did not break done all the fees! Over all the hotel was clean! The roof top pool view was weak! The drinks was good! Staff was friendly ! The complimentary amenities was false information! That should be explained better!!
