Scottsdale Marriott at McDowell Mountains

Bad

Great overall nice hotel and very friendly staff, suites are nice size, I like that there is a door separating the two rooms. The fridge was smelly though, they need to sanitize the fridge after every guest. The hotel rooms are very dated, marriott needs to renovate this property.

Very clean and nice room

Location

I come every year same time for golfing great place to stay

Staff did not explain the fees like parking upfront

The staff and service was very excellent and helpful to our enjoyment

Exceptional

Second stay at this hotel, unfortunately the front desk experience was disappointing once again. The receptionists were not welcoming, seemed unfriendly, and at times came across as rude. My room was located in one of the towers, which can be confusing to navigate, and I did not receive clear directions when I asked for assistance. I also had to repeatedly explain that breakfast was included in my company reservation because the front desk kept insisting it was not. Although the issue was eventually resolved, it created unnecessary frustration. My main concern is not these specific issues, but the overall lack of hospitality and friendliness at reception. On a positive note, the bar, restaurant, and housekeeping staff professional, genuinely welcoming. considering staying elsewhere next tim

Staff were the friendliest I’ve ever experienced!

Superb

Receptionist customer service was rude.. Did my checking gave me the parking pass and did not provided the rooms key, I came back and did not explain where my room was located... I t was tricky to find the room.. I did not feel welcoming asking again..

The room did smelt a bit moldy when I first walked in.

All of the staff from check in to valet to bartending were awesome!

Beautiful property If you opt to park your own car there is no luggage cart for assisting with moving personal items to the room and many of the rooms are not close to the parking area room so it was very very difficult for us. We will not stay here again unless we can get a room near the parking area.

The pool is tops and the room overlooking the pool was great

Rooms were great. Having a split bedroom living room layout is perfect. Everything was clean and tidy, staff was friendly and inviting come over all great place

Also is ridiculous to have to pay 22 dollars per night to park a motorcycle overnight it’s mandatory no self free parking! You are forced to pay pretty much cause there are not other choices close by! Never again!

Excellent service from the front desk, the restaurant and especially the bell captain.

Beautiful, clean room. The whole property had breathtaking views.
