Pleasant

It’s centrally located and within walking distance of shopping and eating establishments. Kind of expensive. Elevators were not working. Long waits and had to use the service elevator. Also, ran out of water in the middle of taking a shower. Not a good thing. I was expecting a nice view from the 17th floor, instead had a view of an ugly building.

Clean room, only issue is one elevator working so took awhile to get to the room. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay again.

When you go in no one is there to receive you and tell you that the lobby is on the 10th floor. The person at the front desk was rude and unwelcoming. Only one elevator was working and another guest told us it had been like that for over a month. It’s in a good central location and room was clean.

Nice modern hotel, the room was comfortable and clean. Two elevators were broken and we had to wait a while every time we left/came back but they also let us use the service elevator. It’s in a good location, just a 12 min walk to pike place.

Very old and dysfunctional facility, showers had no water pressure, elevator were broken, etc. outrageously priced for the location and amenity it offered.

The stay was just OK. Nothing was bad, but nothing was special. The elevators were under construction so a long wait was required or we had yo use a dirty service elevator. Since the service elevator was apparently part of the plan then it should have been fixed up for guests to feel more comfortable. The staff was not bad but simply indifferent to us during nearly every interaction. One time only did a front desk person say hello and smile. Like I said it wasn't a bad stay, but it certainly will not stand out for anything positive.

Everything was fine with the exception of household staff. My roommate left her purse in the room when we checked out. We were sitting in the lobby until 7:30 that evening until out flight out. When they cleaned our room they found her purse & turned it in to the desk. No one called us to report it. We didn't discover the missing purse until she needed her passport at the airport. She was going frantic trying to find where her purse was. The next afternoon, she finally got a call back from the office. Why couldn't someone call me to notify me they had the purse? We spent hours in the lobby then frantically called from the east coast looking for the purse (hotel, taxi, bar). Why didn't they just call me? They had my number.

The heated toilet and amazing mirror in the bathroom The elevator was being worked on and it was bad waiting to use the elevator. The bathroom pipe kept making noise the whole time, black stuff was in the toilet everytime you flushed. The mini fridge was loud so sleeping wasnt good. The staff wasnt very helpful and assumed we knew what to do and where to go for food. They need more signs to help customers out.

Elevators not working

1 Elevator + 1 Service Elevator. So long waits for the elevator. Didn’t use any amenities because of the elevator. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. I would stay again but would call directly to see if elevator is working!

Great location and comfy bed. Loved the bidet and slippers. However, the elevators are being upgraded so only 1 worked (plus the maintenance elevator) and they took 5-10 mins to call every time. Room was also a bit outdated and needed a better cleaning. Smoke alarm was covered by a bag, maybe from someone vaping before my stay. No smell though. Overall it was a good stay for the price.

No hot water in shower, 1 elevator and 1 service elevator to use among guests spread on 20+ floors caused for long waits. Hotel bar was great at happy hour, bed was comfortable!

The room itself was very nice, clean, and comfortable, but unfortunately the overall experience at the hotel was very frustrating because of the elevator situation. The hotel is undergoing renovations and two elevators were out of service, leaving only one working elevator for hotel guests. With everyone arriving, departing, and moving luggage, the wait for the elevator was extremely long and it was often overcrowded. What made matters worse is that the hotel check-in area is located on an upper floor rather than at street level. There was no assistance with our luggage, so we had to carry all of our bags into a small waiting area, wait for the one operating elevator, squeeze ourselves and our luggage into an overcrowded elevator, go upstairs to check in, and then wait all over again for the same elevator to finally get to our room. Checking out was just as inconvenient because everyone was trying to use that same single elevator with their luggage. I understand that hotels need to renovate and make improvements, but taking two elevators out of service at the same time in a hotel where guests must use an elevator just to reach the check-in area created an unnecessary hardship. It seems this could have been handled much better by renovating the elevators one at a time or providing additional assistance to guests with luggage during the renovation.

They do not pay for parking even though the garage is technically attached. And, parking was crazy expensive! This is the first thing people need to know. Otherwise, the room was nice, and had a decent shower. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. Also, three of the four staff we interacted with were helpful and kind. One was not. Unfortunately, it's the one I can't forget. But! That means the majority of the staff were great! :) It's honestly a bit spendy, but it was convenient to the venue we were going to. Most hotels downtown Seattle are extremely expensive!
