We had an ocean view, it was beautiful. In the room they have a fireplace which makes it better. Big room, restroom with showers and bathtub. The view for breakfast and dinner on the water. Amazing views

Best hotel in Seattle.

Poor value

Everything was absolutely perfect. The view from our room into the water, the bed that was possibly the best hotel bed I have ever slept in, and the food at 6-7 was everything we wanted before setting sail at the pier next door.

was nice and close to the waterfront and pike's market all within walking distance

Beautiful location But bring your money.

Great location. We stayed in an overwater room and the view was amazing. The dining was very good as well.

Seems noisy. Creaking floors and noise from adjacent rooms. Great restaurant, but they told us it is going seasonal for breakfast starting in October. Marginal gym with view of nothing and charged daily at $34. Expensive valet. Great location and water views,

Unfortunately, the building is starting to show its age for the price per night.

I don't get why there's a resort fee? Otherwise the entire experience was great, the food was expensive but I think that's pretty much a given for all of Seattle!

Great location large room. No in room information about facilities within the hotel. Was unaware of the no smoking policy and instead had to suffer constant smoke from neighbouring balconies. Food service on site very good and friendly staff. Housekeeping disappointing given that our room was only serviced twice during 5 day stay. Housekeeping need more supervision as we observed staff in corridors constantly on their phones. We left our room before 9 each day and returned after lunch and room had not been touched. Staff failed to handle a request for a step to help climb onto the very high bed and offered either a chair or step ladder to assist.

Staying at the Edgewater was the most beautiful stay!! Highly recommend the over water balcony for a great stay. Waking up the sun shining and walking onto the balcony was amazing! The room was clean, the bathroom was beautiful! Would stay again one day. Only thing I recommend is giving some free water bottles instead of trying to charge 7$ a bottle . Other then that I loved it

Great food and bar!

Everything is amazing except for the never ending flow of trains super close to the hotel. It’s not so much the train noise that sucked, but the warning noises. If you’re a light sleeper, you won’t sleep well here unless you’re willing to use ear plugs.
-
The staff, amazing! The location fabulous. And that is the best the Edgewater has to offer. Rooms and hotel are dated to say the least and there was a very strange smell throughout the entire hotel, and it wasn’t good. Worst yet, our room smelt beyond bad. A combination of cigarette smoke, pot, damp musty moldy smell. I think if any ever opens up those walls they will find nothing but gobs of black mold and spores, which by the way we were breathing in all night. It was so incredibly bad we were forced to keep our windows open all night, while the train rattled right next to us, whistle blowing every 10 minutes, and all night long. Sad, because the staff was the best interaction I’ve ever had. This is one of those perfect location, perfect staff, bad building. And at over $500 a night, it’s a big giant thumbs down.

One of my absolute favorite places

We’ve stayed at the Edgewater numerous times now and it is a favorite of ours in Seattle. The service is great and the food is good too. We didn’t get to have a room on the side of the pier this time but it was still a great room.
