Hotel On Phillips

Great location and beautiful downtown views.

I absolutely love this hotel. It has a great vibe and is in a great location. I also really enjoy The Treasury on site. My favorite place to stay in Sioux Falls!

We asked that they call the repairman. The manager said that the repairman did not work on weekends. So causing customers to freeze for 2 days was not enough to bring in a repairman. Because of the dietary needs, we stayed in the suite and wore heavy sweaters the whole time we were there at the beginning of August! The manager borught a space heater, but it blew the electricity and we couldn't use it. When we checked out we complained and the man behind the desk screamed at us for disparaging the manager. A bellhop that heard this conversation apologized and said that this is not the first time that this happened, both the air conditioner and the yelling at customers. In addition, there are many cars playing loud music outside the hotel that made it difficult to sleep despite us being on a high floor. It was the worst hotel experience we've had over the 100s of hotels we've been at. We received $50 refund for each night, but no apology.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel on Phillips! It is a beautifully restored building, easy walking for restaurants and shopping and the shuttle service is amazing! The room was very comfortable and the shower amazing! I highly recommend the Hotel on Phillips for your Sioux Falls visit.

The property in itself is unique because it is an old bank, so the aesthetics are gorgeous. Some may find the rooms a bit small, but they have all the amenities including a small coffee area, large television, and spacious bathroom with rain shower. The location is perfect for date night as it is located downtown and is walkable to many restaurants. Plus, the river walk is beautiful. We did not utilize the coffeehouse located in the entry, but the bar and work out facilities are great. Parking is a challenge, and we opted to use the valet.

The interior was absolutely beautiful as was our room. True architecture like this has been lost in so many building today. A true delight to see. Nothing.

Wonderful spot for couples! Very convenient to downtown.

This is a great hotel with one of the best bars in town. The only negative is that it’s closed on Sundays and there is limited parking.

This is a beautiful hotel! This is not meant to be a bad review because it truly is a nice spot and walking distance from great restaurants! I just want to relay information I know frequent hotel guests will appreciate; the rooms are much smaller than the average hotel room and feels cramped if you are traveling with a partner and especially if you have luggage there is not much space to keep it. The toilet is about 5 feet away from the end of the bed. There is no ventilation so a quick warm shower turns the whole room into a humid sauna. Those hiccups aside it is clean and has a cool, unique aesthetic, great location, and the cafe in the lobby has great coffee!

Beautiful hotel. Our room was exceptional and bedding made for a good nights sleep.
