The front desk staff seemed clueless, anytime a question was asked they had to go to the back to ask someone else. The hotel was clearly not well maintained, the room was not clean, the ceiling tiles were stained, the floors were dirty and the shower water pressure was so high we thought it might draw blood, with no adjustability. On the plus side, it wasn’t over priced.
-
Room smelled like mildew
-
Location & nice big open area for guests to come & visit After $200 a night stay & then expected to pay $12 for breakfast is unacceptable
-
Just do t get a room by the lower floor where I believe the swimming pool is…kids running up and down u til 2300 hours it was frustrating to get sleep
-
Great hotel with nice amenities
-
Food and location were good Quiet customers...not guys shouting in the halls, someone's dog barking, toddler screaming

Room is dirty stained outdated moldy cracks smells yuck gak ick . Not what the pictures show at all they lied they have no room service, not even if your handicapped like my self no one will help you so don’t bother asking. The African fellow was polite and awesome , really appreciate him And all he has done. He was the only one who seemed to care and did a great job of making us feel somewhat important. You need that guy in management and let him make more discussions. The staff was not help, only one guy was helpful. I was over charged for a room That was about the same quality as the supper 8 from 1999

It was the worse stay i have had in a while or ever at that hotel.

I do want to give credit where it’s due. We ate dinner at the hotel and had a few drinks, and that staff was AMAZING. Dinner was good and the drinks were even better. That part of our experience was completely different and very enjoyable. ⭐️⭐️ Definitely Not Worth $326 for One Night I paid an extra $40 when booking specifically so breakfast would already be included for my family of five. When we arrived, I found out that apparently it doesn’t matter that you pay extra for breakfast or how many people are listed on the reservation — you still only receive TWO breakfast vouchers with the room. So my first piece of advice: DO NOT pay extra or prepay for breakfast thinking you’re saving yourself time or money. We paid extra ahead of time and still had to pay even more for the rest of our family to eat. When I checked in, I tried explaining that I had specifically paid extra for breakfast through Booking.com. I completely understand that Booking.com is a separate company and the hotel may not be able to control or change what Booking.com charged me. What bothered me was the complete lack of concern from the front desk. Nobody even attempted to explain the situation or simply say, “Unfortunately, that is something you’ll have to take up with Booking.com.” Instead, the two breakfast vouchers were basically slammed down on the counter with an “it is what it is” attitude. Breakfast itself made the situation even worse. Amber, who was working the breakfast area, came across as extremely untrained and rude. She actually argued with me that breakfast was only free for children 10 and under while there was a sign right there stating 11 and under. On top of everything else, the breakfast was horrible. The room itself was okay. The square toilet was definitely a weird choice ?, but nothing terrible. Unfortunately, the farther you got away from the lobby, the worse the hotel seemed to get — and even the lobby smelled like sewage during our stay. Overall, this hotel actually has a lot of potential, but customer service can make or break a hotel, and some of the staff we encountered are going to run this place into the ground if things don't change. I travel to Springfield 2–4 times a month.

This hotel needs an upgrade. It appears some modernization was done in the rooms, but it still feels rather "used", like a party place. Outside the room, it's very apparent that this hotel was once a top-notch place, but now it seems like it's probably a place for lower end gatherings/dances take place. It is nice that it is close to several places so you don't have to go far to get what you need such as gas/food.
