The property was amazing. Touring the mountain and the property was great. The staff were friendly. The hidden prices was a problem. No breakfast unless you paid an obscene amount of money. The pool closed at 10pm on Friday and 11pm on Saturday. The air conditioner in the room did not cool enough we had to go to Walmart and buy fans. The housekeepers do not clean rooms that are occupied. I had to bring my towels to housekeeping to get clean ones.

Honestly it’s a nice property Me and my husband slept two days with no air conditioner we left before check out because it was so hot in there. They moved us room late night even tho we had told them earlier that day then they don’t even have microwaves in the rooms the amount of money you pay for the stay is over rated then you have to pay an additional 170 for a resort fee. It was very a very uncomfortable stay , and the staff there don’t have a care in the world mainly the night staff.

Overall this was an okay stay. I felt really sorry for the employee at check in though because they were slammed with people and she not only was the only one working who could check in guests, but she apparently wasn't even supposed to be working that night/that late. But she was so kind and very professional. The rooms are somewhat outdated, which is okay, but I had a problem with the lack of cleanliness (see photos). The showers had other people's hair on the walls, mold in the shower curtain, etc. The pool, while a nice size, felt and looked dirty. Breakfast was pretty good, however you should know that breakfast is major $$$$. I think it was something around $85 for 2 adults, a 10 year old and a toddler. Insane. The arcade is disappointing. There are very few games, and those that are there will often eat your money, not dispense the prize when you win, etc. The biggest issue though was there were multiple family reunions happening during our stay. The guests were allowing the arcade to "babysit" their kids. The kids were running everywhere, screaming, asking us for money for games, trying to take over the games we were playing, etc. While that's not the hotels fault, their lack of speaking to the parents about these kids was frustrating.

It's in a beautiful area by itself. Easy to get to. Very clean and very friendly and knowable staff in all areas including front desk, Waterside and The Connors!!! From checking in, using both onsite restaurants and Starbucks, the staff were awesome. David, the van shuttle driver, was great! It was very busy but no one seemed upset or had issues waiting. The pools were well maintained. It's just looking old and dated in some areas. Our room looked updated but inside bathroom door still looked a lil battered. Def the restaurants need some Old English to freshen up all the wood. Wouldn't take much. The Connors outside deck light pillars need updating. Nothing major, just cleaned up.

No clothes dresser in the (big) room. No kitchen table/desk either.

Location Pool view is shabby

Exceptional

In general, it is below average because of the cleanliness issues and disrepair noted in some elevators and some outside areas around the exit doors. I would not return until the property underwent a renovation.

Stone Mountain attraction We went to the traven restaurant and we waited over 2 hours for food. The server was amazing but she was also the bartender we tried to go Saturday and literally walked around in a circle and no one even acknowledged our existence

So, my overall score for this one is that it was outstanding.
