Residence Inn by Marriott Weehawken

It's kind of crazy to build a hotel on thr Hudson and sell a room with "city view" at premium prices and then the view is of construction and a TINY bit of the river. Additionally, it's pretty crazy to put one a/c unit in the King suites that doesn't stay vented to the living room where the pull out sofa BED is located. The rest of the space was HOT and we were told "oh, turn the a/c in the bedroom as low as it will go (which froze us out at night when it kicked on) and as long as there is a light on or someone moving in the living/ kitchen area, the a/c vent will circulate air." When I asked for a fan as another solution because the living room sofa bed was being used as a bedroom and the lights would be off and no one would be moving, I was told "I didn't design the system!" No fan was ever brought. Bed was comfy though and it was clean. Overpriced for the crappy view.

The hotel is in a great location, which I really liked. The rooms are spacious, the bed was very comfortable, and I also appreciated that I couldn’t hear any noise from the hallway. I didn’t like that there was no extra blanket or slippers in the room. Also, the breakfast selection was quite limited.

The property was beautiful! Plus shoutout to the front desk & the breakfast staff Keyana & Shelia they were all so amazing. Property is close to a grocery store & several restaurants. Also, you can take the ferry into New York within eight minutes. It is definitely a property that I will book again in the future. In Jesus Christ Name

Hotel staff was very professional and easy to communicate with. The rooms were clean and spacious. The hotel is in a very good location, lots of places surrounding the area to eat at. Lots of area to walk too. You can walk across the street to get on the ferry to New York, The Waterway to New York is Fabulous. It looks like you can see the entire skyline.

Of course the location is fantastic and we regularly took the ferry over to Manhattan, which was so convenient. The breakfast was outstanding and the staff were always very helpful.

The room phone didn't work and we were questioned on which phone we were calling from to report one TV wasn't functioning properly and there were no fresh towels after first night. If the policy was no fresh towels it should be posted. They fixed the TV and brought fresh towels, The breakfast was great both days and location is awesome. Price is steep, but normal for area.

We need bellman for hotel to help the guest more convenient

Our flight was canceled and we couldn’t make it and we couldn’t get ahold of anyone to get our refund. I do not plan to recommend this property in the future.

The room was very clean as well.
