Motel 6 Addison, TX - Dallas

When I checked in it smelled like the room had been sprayed for pest control and there were several dead bugs on the floor. I had problems with my tv and a/c but the staff got that resolved. I’ve stayed at other Motel 6 in Dallas bc I have a dog. The Addison location is by far the nicest one. I’d never stay at the forest lane or Farmers Branch location again. Totally different clientele and customer service. The only thing I do not like is there is no wiggle room on check out. I literally had to sit outside with my dog and suitcases waiting for my ride. They wouldn’t give me 30 minutes. But still worth the money if u are traveling with a pet.

Very poor

I didn’t like anything about it. It was dirty, the tv was broken. It was INFESTED with roaches.

The air conditioning in the last unit i stayed in did not get cold and stayed at about 75 degrees even being put on 65 degrees. I think it was unit 110

I was in 195. Dont know about the other rooms, but my room looked.....disregarded. The curtain didn't stretch all the way, the bathroom door was warped from moisture damage, and was literally coming apart, there were small bugs, questionable spots on the walls, and housekeeping put my stuff outside when they cleaned. I was scheduled for 2 nights. They shouldn't have even went in there.

Very good

All Trash cans on the grounds were full outside for a full day on Sunday night through Monday. The main door to the room had a good size crack in it that could let critters in. The room stunk with an odor of something from either moles or mildew. There was mold in the bathroom on the ceilings around the shower. Cove base was loose around the bathtub. I have pictures documenting all of this.

Overall a great deal for a small budget. Air conditioning is great and views poolside are a nice bonus to the atmosphere of the stay.

Passable

Superb

Crashed here for a few days before beginning my cross country journey. Big property with an outdoor pool. Convenient location in Addison/ N Dallas with plenty of restaurants nearby

Price Roaches in room

Superb

Rooms are roach infested. Found roaches in my first room near the fridge and microwave. Got switched into a second room found a roach in the bathroom. Staff acknowledged a roach problem but refused to refund my stay. They wanted to switch me to a third room.

provide breakfast

They waiter till I left to come into the room and a drawer that I had sensitive federal information in was half opened and TV was on when I left but was off and wouldn't turn on when I came back and there solution was try a different remote then said they'll send someone they never came. House keeping kept knocking on the door between 11 and 1:40pm even on non check outdays.

the room the staff wasn’t helpful
