Marriott Anchorage Downtown

Clean, modern and a close walk to where I needed to be. Bed was. Uncomfortable and temperature control did not work well.

Excellent stay after 7 week cruise to Alaska. Hotel was extremely clean. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Great location for walking. Plenty of restaurants nearby.

The room was great!

Standard Marriott business hotel in great location downtown Anchorage. Front desk staff were very helpful in straightening out a reservation snafu. Room was very clean, very quiet, very sparse but certainly adequate furnishings. Don’t go here for the atmosphere; it’s an anonymous biz hotel. But absolutely fine for a night or two in transit through Anch.

Hotel was very overpriced for what it is. Also started some kind of construction at 5:00 am

Only slight negative was the shower in the room, which was barely warm, dripped constantly, and the plumbing in our room, and neighbouring rooms, made a loud noise.

Clean quiet safe convenient and very pleasant staff

Overpriced for a one night stay.

Convenient Location, clean. No water in room, no paper or pen in room, coffee machine broken, no conditioner in shower, TV a nightmare to get google cast to work--never did---little things that make a difference and are generally expected.

Our bathroom plug did not work so I had to go to another room to dry my hair. We were given a room with a poor view that smelled like 10 room fresheners were placed inside and no view when there were rooms with a view. The room I dryed my hair in had a wonderful view on the same floor and same type of beds. Overall the room is very dark even with all the lights on.

Otherwise as expected

The staff was poorly trained and not up to what I think of when I think of a Marriot.

There seems to be a certain smell in the rooms that could use some type of remediation.

From check in to check out, we had a great experience. Teen, checked us in. He was kind, courteous, understanding and helpful. The fella in the restaurant, I can’t remember his name, was efficient, friendly, joyful and remembered us the next day and said goodbye. Eduardo, helped us with our bags and car. He was very professional in explaining our options for parking, helpful, kind, friendly and welcoming as he made us feel at home. Thank you Marriot for giving us a great nights rest.

I have to repeated call to front desk to get cleaned . The entire 10 days is about little under$9000, but they automatically authorize about $ 14,000 to my credit card, until I correct them in front desk . I will never stay there again .

Good breakfast and good location. But basic amenities

Overpriced for what you get. The property was in poor condition, especially for a Marriott. The food was cafeteria-quality with very limited options, the elevators frequently malfunctioned, and some front desk staff seemed undertrained. Overall, I expected a much better experience for the price.

Great hotel in anchorage!

I arrived very late and was greeted very warmly. I got my room quickly and fell asleep right away.
