Edenbrook Motel

Edenbrook was accommodating by allowing us to check in a little bit early. It is an older motel but was very well maintained. The bed was comfortable. Bathroom was clean with a heater. There was a mini fridge, coffee maker and nice size TV. Nice chairs out in front of all the rooms. I don't think there was any kind of breakfast severed. We didn't partake of it if there was. It isn't in Bar Harbor but was close enough that you could to any place within a few minutes. I would definitely stay there again.

Price

Cute updated motel. Prices are high in this area for what you get. It’s a basic, but clean and comfortable place. The view is only good if you get the highest room, otherwise it’s a street and trees. The free city shuttle was a plus. A tip on the return trip is to get off at the college across the street since it’s the first stop and just cross the street to the motel. The check in lady on 10-1-2026 at 4pm was not pleasant at all and seemed to hate her job. We tried but couldn’t even get a smile out of her.

The room was clean and quiet. It was challenging to figure out how to adjust the heat settings. There were limited selections for TV viewing.

The location was excellent and that it was about a mile to downtown Bar Harbor and across the street from the bus stop. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Parking spaces were quite wide. We were on the second floor and there was no elevator so this may be a problem for folks with limited mobility. The entrance to the driveway is not very well marked/lit but if you try to turn off on Highbrook Street that may be easier. The street in front of the motel is very busy but the rooms were quiet. This was an excellent value and great location for exploring Acadia National Park. We would definitely stay there again.

The property was a perfect location , very accommodating with a very late check in ! It was a clean place and your assigned parking spot was right in-front of your room . The whole place was convenient and we can’t wait to come back ! Nothing :) all was great

Our 9 day stay at Edenbrook was fantastic. Simple and super clean with helpful staff. Though not on the ocean, you can see it. Only amenity drawback was no washer/dryer on sight, no deal breaker for us. Great motel.

We had an excellent stay at Edenbrook. The property is perfectly situated to be close to Bar Harbor’s downtown but not too close. The room was very spacious and very clean with a comfortable bed. Each guest has a designated parking space in front of their room. The only negative - and it was very minor - is that the bathroom sink drained very slowly. We were very pleased with our choice of Edenbrook.
