Don’t be fooled by the price, this is not a nice hotel. It sits NEXT to a nicer hotel and most of the photos are of that property. Our room was on par with a cheap motel. The shower was so small that the curtain clung to your body. The bathroom sink pedestal didn’t fit the sink so it had a large weird spider filled gap… it is not great folks.

The room we had was clean but outdated, the TV service was terrible. Had a nice balcony on 2nd floor but the view of the bay is 90% blocked. Parking was convenient and was on the local free bus service line which is great.

Room was old and tired. There was no heat in the room

Great stay would recommend

We loved the location of this property. It has wonderful views and is outside the craziness of the town traffic but within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again.

Old but clean. Good shower pressure

This is an archaic motel vintage 1940s. Very poor quality. Totally misrepresented in online pics. Door to shower was about 15”. Lots of sloppily applied caulking. Hot water was only tepid. Outrageously overpriced!!!

Hotel was within walking distance to downtown, 15-20 mins. There was a free shuttle bus that ran every 15-30 mins to take you downtown. The room was very clean, cozy, and cute. Highly suggest!

We were in the guesthouse, which we knew upon booking. The room STUNK. Moldy mildew. We reported it to maintenance, told nothing they could do. While checking out I mentioned the smell and how disappointing it was to have to go through a maintenance closet to get to our adjoining rooms. They said they are well aware of the smell and plan to address it next year. A man at the desk offered to credit us one night for the room that was the most smelly ( we had 2 rooms/2 nights.) We said thank you and were told to expect an email about the credit. We never got an email or a credit. There were no amenities close to the guesthouse so I cannot review them

Loved our stay! Would recommend Ollie’s Trollies for a tour of the national park! We thoroughly enjoyed our tour guide Gloria!!!

Very clean room and entire facility. Front desk was very helpful in recommending local restaurants. Breakfast was fast and reasonable at their Looking Glass Restaurant. Our only negative was that housekeeping did not come in either day and we had to call at the end of the day for towels which were promptly delivered. Nice proximity to downtown area and Acadia. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect place to stay. We loved it
-
For example, the bathroom door was painted so many times whenever you opened or closed it it made a loud cracking sound which woke everybody up in our room and probably two rooms away

Pretty Okay for the price? Nothing extra ordinary.

We stayed at the WonderView, which is attached to the BlueNose Hotel. The room was clean and well taken care of, but it was a little "bare bones". The rooms were older and could use some refreshing, but we spent most of our time outside so it was ok. We had a view of the bay from the balcony and it was great that we could just walk to the Looking Glass restaurant for breakfast. I do wish it was open a little later that 11:00 as the food was excellent and reasonably priced.

It was handy using the shuttle to Bar Harbor all day and 20 minute walk to Bar Harbor on the Ocean side. Pool, sauna, etc were part of the hotel next door.

The property was wonderful, so close to downtown. The room was clean & the staff was very helpful & knowledgeable about the area. The Looking Glass restaurant was very good, especially the view & outdoor options! However, the highlight of our stay was enjoying Bill Trowell nightly at the hotel piano bar. He was fantastic!

This is a lovely property and the staff was so professional and helpful to all of our questions! The restaurant on the property was fabulous - I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Bar Harbor area!
