When asking about tvs (at the front desk) or anything in the bar (drinks, tv, where to eat) absolutely the worst help. The hotel was mostly clean. Our room had something spilled down the front of the dresser that should’ve been cleaned off and the chair cushion was questionable…..

MOLD EVERYWHERE IN MY ROOM. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE
-
We had a room designated for dogs that was downstairs. When we first walked in, all we.smelled was air freshener. Once we were in there a few mins, it was overpowering dog pee smell. The bathroom had hair in.thw tub and on.the floor. The toilet was used with toilet paper in it. Simce.it waa.late at night and we were tired from driving, we didnt say anything and stayed the night. The bed was so uncomfortable that I woke up with a backache. We will never stay.there again.

A bit outdated and the pillows were thin, but we didn’t stay in the hotel during the day so it wasn’t that much of a problem

As a single older woman traveling, they put me in a room all the way to the back of the property. This would not been a problem except there was very little lighting...it was dark. I entered the room and it smelled like BO and old stinky dirty carpet. The front desk miraculous found a less smelly room.

Good for a stopover on the road. Convenient to interstate, gas and food.

The staff was great. I needed to check in early and they were very accommodating. As a solo traveler I appreciate that the person checking me in didn’t announce my room number for others to announce. Unfortunately I would not recommend this property or stay there again.

The staff at front desk was fabulous. The housekeeping needs improvement. Dusty vents, musty smell, toilets need to be cleaned at base, shower drains need to be cleaned better, had a black ring. Also dusting at top of walls for cobwebs. The bedding was clean. The drapes carpets and furniture are very dated and need replacement. The free breakfast had a variety, the scrambled eggs tasted powdered. They did have a variety of breads, fruit, sausage cold items in a fridge. Hotel side door broken as was the fire extinguisher case on level 2, broken glass. The lobby and breakfast area were clean and cute. We only had a short 2 night stay. It is a beautiful area and the staff were polite and helpful. If they made some of the improvements it would be great! The location has access to plenty of restaurants, shopping and both national and state parks.

Went into my room and there was food left in the fridge, I've built up on the freezer door and couldn't open it. Hair on the bathroom floor. One of my friends that was traveling with us went into their room the bed was unmade, the TV on . And and mold in the room. Very dirty and terrific to stay. Will not stay again.

Perfect place to stay great staff food

I'll definitely recommend this place to anybody who is traveling through West Virginia. Very clean rooms. The staff was very friendly and nice. The breakfast was pretty good and the bar. Yes, it was outstanding whenever I came into town. I always stayed at this place.

Great stay, excellent customer service
-
Reason we picked this location was the pool we checked in and pool was closed

BJ and Troy did an excellent job of keeping the breakfast area stocked and clean. The food was warm and delicious and there were many options.

When we got to the room, we noticed an odd smell. We had a long day so we started getting ready for bed. We noticed that the bedside tables were dirty on the surface and dozens of small ants crawling on the wall and near the baseboard by the window. I called and complained and they did get us moved to another room. That room was better but the bedside tables were still not very clean. We turned the air conditioner on and went to bed. We soon realized that the air conditioner fan made a very irritating noise and it was very hard to sleep through the night, but we were too tired to complain and try and get another room. I did complain to the person behind the front desk but he just said sorry about that and did not offer any kind of discount or anything. I know the room was very inexpensive, but basic cleanliness and quiteness shouldn’t be too much to ask for.

The room was dirty, had to have someone come in to clean bathroom and Jacuzzi tub. Toilet was dirty.

Check-in went well and room was decent enough, just a little dated. However, while we were eating takeout that we brought back we found small ants crawling around one of the bedside tables. There were not many but it was still off-putting. Any food garbage that we had during our stay I had to throw away down the hall as I didn't want to encourage more ants. Later I found the hair dryer had a layer of dust on it as did the top of the headboard and other flat surfaces. Clearly these surfaces had not been cleaned in some time which made me immediately question the overall cleanliness of the place. When I went to connect to the wi-fi as I had work to do, I could connect but there was no internet. I tried my laptop and 2 phones so I know it was not something I was doing wrong. When I asked the front desk about it they confirmed the wi-fi was down. Why this wasn't mentioned at check-in, I don't know. I can deal with dated furnishings and no wi-fi, but considering the cost of the room and the questionable cleanliness I will not stay at this location or likely any Quality Inn again.

Our room was clean, property was maintained, our stay was quiet, staff friendly and we truly enjoyed breakfast. Sausage gravy was great! We will be back.
