Inn at 500 Capitol

The staff were cordial, polite and respectful. I liked the room decor The room was clean, bed was comfortable

Loaner bikes were in poor condition. Lobby coffee was not stocked. Front desk staff was indifferent. Cleaning staff was friendly.

Convenient downtown location

I love the property and its location. Very charming and clean. My travel companion unfortunately got food poisoning from the restaurant immediately after eating an expensive steak from the restaurant housed at the hotel. The staff didn’t seem that concerned and did nothing other than supposedly inquire. Could have been better but otherwise wonderful stay.

Was it expensive? Yes but it was so nice everyone was helpful and friendly Hemlock was an amazing restaurant!

This hotel is amazing! From the staff to the attention to detail.

The room was spacious and well appointed with lots of thoughtful amenities including ample closet spaces, a cozy window seat and book shelf, fireplace and inviting coffee and bar station. Bathroom was elegantly decorated and offered all the extras.

The staff is very helpful especially when you stay out late and need a place to eat. Their recommendations are awesome❤️

It was INCREDIBLE!

Excellent location, friendly staff and wonderful accommodations

Amazing rooms and friendly staff!

Airport transport was a real plus. Front desk personal was very friendly. We did not have a car for our stay because the Hotel is well located & gave us much to do by foot.

We also had a delicious meal at the steakhouse downstairs. We especially appreciated that they keep some seats at the bar reserved for hotel guests; it was such a thoughtful touch and made the evening feel effortless. The bartenders were incredibly friendly and lovely, too. We always appreciate it when the staff genuinely seems happy—it creates such a welcoming atmosphere and makes the entire experience even more enjoyable. From the unique room to the wonderful dinner and warm hospitality, everything came together for a truly memorable stay. We would absolutely stay here again!

Hotel was amazing. Clean and what a surprise of a glass of wine at checkout. Dined at Hemlock in the hotel..bartenders are amazing especially Izzy..she gave us some spots to visit..would definitely stay here again.

Staff was so welcoming and friendly. Exceptional hotel!!

Beautiful hotel ans great location.

Close to everything, spacious comfortable rooms, pricey pet charge

Unfortunately I feel like this hotel is going down hill. We have stayed here a lot and I’m not sure if it’s under new ownership or management but it’s like everything is going down hill. The valet that stood as I struggled to get the giant suitcase out of the car. In past visits, they open the door for you as soon as you arrive and are eager to help with luggage. The front desk seemed less thrilled with not much eye contact. The cleanliness of the room was concerning. There was a booger on the bed with either a beard hair or pubic hair. The walls had scuffs all over them, there was chipped paint all over the room.

2nd stay when visiting and not disappointed!

Our stay was amazing! The hotel felt like a home away from home! All the right amenities and felt so cozy and comfortable. They have a shuttle to and from the airport, an amazing restaurant, and great room service. It’s in a perfect location, walking distance to all the great spots in downtown boise and right next to the boise river walk. I will be recommending to friends and staying here for all future visits to boise.
