Cypress Inn

The fireplace didn't work and the room was noisy and on the street. They said the hotel was at half capacity so they should have given us a better room but they didn't.

The cutest hotel I have stayed in while travelling around California. I love it and all the doggies surrounding me ♥️🐶

Adorable Inn downtown Carmel, close to everything. Small room but excepted with historic property- I was worried about all the dogs but our room was appointed well and very clean. Cozy lobby. Will definitely return.

Nice lobby. Complimentary breakfast in the morning. The rooms are very basic and have no air ventilation.

Very cozy hotel with personality. Was comfortable. Busy but not overwhelming. Excellent breakfast. Parking is a pain but can be managed. Staff helpful and nice. We enjoyed our stay.

The last half dozen or so times we have come to Carmel we have stayed at the Cypress Inn. Great location in the heart of Carmel. Walk everywhere. We always bring our poodle and they are super dog friendly. I like the character and history of the hotel. Everything was excellent. I would say the bathroom this stay could have used a little more shelving around the sink area but understand there is only so much that can be done.

We had a lovely stay here. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the location was great—convenient for exploring the area. We especially loved the cute courtyard, which made the place feel cozy and welcoming. Overall, a charming and comfortable stay!

The Inn is one of our favorite places in Carmel. Usually we have one of the better rooms but they were gone this time. The basic king bed room was small and the bathroom very small and poorly conceived with few surfaces on which to place things. A better room is a must for next time. Breakfast great and included. Parking very limited and must be reserved morning at 8 am day of arrival. $40!!

The best place to stay if you have a dog! Limited available parking. The staff recommended that we park beyond the hotel about 2 blocks in the residential area for available parking. The weather was nice so this was not a problem.

We had dinner in the restaurant the service was excellent and the food was delicious and fairly priced My only concern was the hostess needs to learn to smile and make people welcome We almost went to another restaurant We will be back Smile

This was WAY overpriced for the quality and experience. In addition, there were loud dogs barking in the hotel in the morning which work me and honestly left me highly disappointed. Would not recommend it and wouldn’t stay here again. I have never paid so much a night and been so unhappy.

The location was fantastic. The room was so loud! You could hear the elevator, dogs barking, and people talking inside the room. It was difficult to sleep.

Rooms were comfortable and charming. Staff was nice and helpful.

It’s a wonderful place! Absolutely wonderful! Very like old European and so cute! Outstanding staff and breakfast. I expected more modern features like parking and more space. But I found pi parking just fine nearby. The space was fine for the two of us. Cozy, tranquil and old European style! Loved it Nothing ?. Okay, price, on a Friday night in the summer
