Villa Mara Carmel

Staffs were very friendly and helpful.

We were surprised that Villa Mara is a large house in a neighborhood. The entire place is very well maintained and comfortable. There are multiple sitting areas with fire pits on the property. Upon arrival we were greeted by very helpful and friendly staff offering refreshments and help with our luggage. The room was extremely nice. The bathroom had heated floors, a tub and shower. The complimentary breakfast is in line with any fine restaurant. The staff will provide beverage refreshments at anytime upon request in the bar. This is one of the nicest places I have ever stayed.

The location, rooms, amenities, breakfast and staff were exceptional! Truly their for all of your needs!

My best hotel stay ever. Every detail was thought of and executed!

Amazing stay again ! We love Villa Mara. Our Room was fresh and updated. Location was excellent for us, close to beach and just a 2 minute drive to downtown. The location is quiet and very relaxing. Shout out to Jonathon and Eric the pm staff for their friendliness and attention to details, although the entire staff were superb and helpful. Breakfast quiche A+ and thanks for introducing us to Zum Zum teas, perfect way to end the day

We loved our stay at Villa Mara and can't wait to come back! Service was outstanding and made us feel right at home. There were lots of cute, little touches to make our stay comfortable and special.

The staff were extremely, genuinely, welcoming. My welcoming drink was a pint of Alvarado Street beer, which is a favorite. While I was checking in they also supplied snacks and were genuinely interested in my stay. The room had a free mini-bar with some great snacks. The evening turn down included cookies. Great ocean view from the room. The room also had a balcony which is nice touch. The location is quite and parking was easy. I will stay again.

Gorgeous property, incredible staff and 5 star service. I've never had an experience like this one where guests are treated like royalty. Absolutely perfect!

The service was by far one of the best I’ve had. My partner and I had a great weekend.

Excellent place to stay. Staff were wonderful. Location was perfect

Absolutely incredible stay, property, staff and experience. 10/10 on all counts. Every detail is considered and executed beautifully. Recommend with highest praise.

Beautiful boutique hotel a block from the beach. We were comfortable and felt cared for. Definitely worth another visit !

My wife and I came here to celebrate our honeymoon and we couldn't have picked a better place to do so. They made us feel special with champagne and flowers and it was perfect to unwind after the wedding. The breakfast in bed was stellar with the best almond croissant we’ve ever had. The slice of cake was just a lovely touch when hanging out by the fire with a glass of wine. The pleasant aroma of Sental 33 throughout the room and shower products made you feel engulfed in luxury. The beautiful landscaping of cacti and ivy made you feel transported to a different country. It was an intimate, private experience but also had a communal atmosphere at the same time. The attention to detail really does make the experience while maintaining a cool personality and style. Very special thing they got going on. Villa Mara helped us fully relax and just enjoy being newly married. Thank you for this and we will be back in the future! Drew and Julianna

10/10 service!

The location was fantastic. Robert, Jonathan, Rocky & Johnny were all very welcoming as well as helpful in providing best spots to eat & visit.

Staff is amazing. They are so friendly and helpful. Breakfast is the best. We love coming to Villa Mara

A lovely boutique hotel a block from the water. Wonderfully helpful staff. Great breakfast and evening cake. Quick access to town. Will definitely stay again when in Carmel.

We stayed for 3 nights and it was great. The staff are very attentive and they provide us with great customer service. When we check in we receive a free drink and in the property there are fire places where you can sit and enjoy a drink.

Amazing property, close to the beach and town. Highly recommend.

Check-in was a positive experience as soon as you walk through the doors. Ambiance is just what the Doctor ordered. ✨✨✨
