Extended Stay America Select Suites - Charlotte - University Place

The room reeked of cigarettes and weed along with the fridge being extremely dirty. Parts of the kitchen cabinets where missing along with the fact they charged an extra $2 for towels when we where only given 2 towels for 3 people? We saw at least 2 roaches as well. Would not recommend staying here. The staff was very kind but the hotel needs major renovations

Cockroach and stains everywhere

The bed was comfortable just small beds The doors out back and side doors you couldn't enter when you had a key card. And then the elevator need to be fixed with all that squeaky sounds. The microwave needed to be cleaned out

The outside The roaches and the staff digging in they ass

The price and area it was located in. The smell of second floor hallway

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! We were treated horribly, would not let us check in because they sold our room because we did not check in by a certain time, which we reserved and paid for a room several days prior to our check in date.. then had a towing company come and try and tow my truck because we "didnt pull into a reserved check in spot".. Mind you, this all happened within 5 minutes. BEWARE!!

Our room was very clean. They are pet friendly which is fantastic. Close to restaurants, stores, and the amphitheatre. Plenty of parking. The staff was very friendly. The room did smell like a smoking room but a little febreeze helped. The halls have a horrible odor. The stairs, elevator, and common areas could be cleaned a little more often. Overall, we would stay again due to being pet friendly, price, and location

This property is the worst ever I have seen in my entire life, they sold out my room to someone else before I reached there. In the middle of the night after traveling for 10 hrs I had to find another place just because they sold my confirmed room to another guest for a higher price.

Very clean lovely rooms

General manager and front desk staff was rude and impossible to deal with .no hostility at all. Lazy and difficult. The only ones that were nice was the house keepers. They were respectful and always smiling. General manager put a dnr on me because I held her accountable for the way she treated me. I was told I wasn't important by the General manager because I didn't pay for 7 days. So people that pay daily are treated like trash by them. I highly recommend u to take your family or yourself somewhere else

Location

NOTHING ! It needs to be reported to the police and health department Filthy place smells god awful, several men surrounded the front door attempting to sell drugs or buy female time ! No security, no front desk , drug transaction right in front of everyone just terrible

Avoid at all cost. They respond to review with polite nice answers so I interpreted that as it would translate to the hotel. That was wrong. Nasty. Smells like smoke. Apartment complex for people not a hotel. No regard for complaints. For 2 nights spending 180 this was theft. Criminal. Needs to be closed. Torn down and rebuilt 3 times before I would ever dare step foot here.

The toilet would not flush and I was not put in another room

Exceptional

The property was not well maintained. No overnight staff or maintenance. Would not recommend

This location canceled my room this place was dirty.

Absolutely nothing The property is dirty. The staff is extremely rude and they are having paying customers cars towed unlawfully

They is need to up the game on clearance.

Good
