SpringHill Suites by Marriott Atlanta Airport Gateway

Room was ok, Could use a little updating, The biggest issue was that the hotel charged me for the room (full rate) after I checked out. I pre-paid through Hotels.com. They said they needed my card at check-in for incidentals, but ended up charging me for the room. So, I was there less than 9 hours and got charged for two nights, I called and they said they would take it off, but they did not.

Skytram to airport was excellent. Breakfast was great. Toilet flush was extremely loud in our room, but did great job.

I had an early flight, leaving the hotel at 6 am. No food was available. It would be nice to have a grab n go for early birds that need to leave before food is ready for breakfast

What was even more frustrating was that when Expedia contacted the hotel regarding my refund request, the hotel stated there was no documentation of my complaint, despite the fact that I was moved from Room 523 to Room 618 that night. Poor cleanliness, a major inconvenience, and disappointing communication. I expected much better for the price I paid.

The staff was so accommodating and amazing to us. We were traveling with our 5 week old child and they made sure we had everything we needed, even soap to clean his bottles. If we are in Atlanta again, I would stay here again for sure.

The rooms were very spacious and pretty clean. Location was good for our quick overnight stay.

I booked this room because it was rated excellent. 9.0 out of 10. We checked into the room and our air-conditioning was set on 68°. We tried to get it warmer and it wasn’t working. Neither with the streaming service on the TV. We went to get another room and they sent a maintenance guy up and he confirmed the heating air-conditioning unit wasn’t working right we told them we wanted to go to another room and he asked are we sure because we could go to another room and have the same problem. We did go to another room. The deck chair was broken. The USB ports did not charge. We still had a problem with the streaming service. This is an old tired hotel.

Wish they had breakfast at 430AM

I found the staff to be very professional ,helpful and pleasant. The room was clean everything was nice.
