Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Columbus New Albany

I made a reservation, then it was cancelled within minutes due to no rooms available. They said my money would be refunded. 4 weeks later and I still have not received a refund and I'm out of $961.00.

The room was clean and the property was well maintained. Great for a night’s stay. The breakfast staff were helpful and attentive.

I do not know what amenities were available- had to give a deposit in case things were charged to the room. Out TV did not work, had to switch rooms- staff was wonderful but it happened. Something in the pool water is making me sneeze repeatedly.

The hotel was very clean and well-maintained. Beds are very comfy. I wanted to enjoy the outdoor seating with the gas fireplace, but it was raining. Boo. Most important, the buffet breakfast actually had REAL food! And the coffee was actually good! Thank you!

The hotel was in excellent condition. The rooms are spacious and nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and hot. Would stay here again.

Room lighting is a little bit dark, and some of the switches for the lights are difficult to locate, because they're so micro-tiny, and in peculiar places. So it might be difficult to get the lighting you want. It's a comfortable room, and as long as you're not studying for an exam, you should be fine. The shower is one of the cleanest and most fancy of all that we've experienced in thirty thousand miles of hotel stays. nevertheless, It takes a while for the water to get hot when you turn it on, so don't think that they've run out of hot water... It just takes a while to get to your room. The best breakfast we've had at any hotel, anywhere, and that was a surprising bonus. I would say that careful attention is paid to inside and outside maintenance, and that the building is in excellent condition.

The hotel was very clean and nice. Staff friendly and kind. The picture gallery is true to what it is like in person. The hotel is centrally located with lots of restaurants, stores and easy freeway access. We stayed 5 nights and had a very pleasant experience. The breakfast was a good selection, good quality and stocked. The only thing I wish they would do is leave coffee out for most of the day. Just a little suggestion. But all was great and would stay here again.

Pool was green and full of algae. Booked it due to a doctors appointment so kids could swim and they wasn’t able to.

Exceptional

Very clean room with comfortable bedding and furniture. Microwave, mini fridge and coffee maker were clean and came in very handy. Excellent breakfast. My request for a late checkout was politely honored- the staff here is wonderful!

The maintenance staff should do a better job of deodorizing the room when cleaning. There was on odor upon entry to the room the 1st night.
