Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great.

Great location. Breakfast was good. Parking was doubled billed by PMC. Currently online with both for 2nd time attempting to resolve.

I also paid $70 more when I checked in than what my reservation was and no one could tell me why until I got a manager the day we checked out and she said it was incidentals that would be returned to my card within three days. The staff were so kind and sweet. Except Asher. My grandmother fell and broke her nose and Asher was more worried about the blood she was dripping than if she was okay. Overall it was a wonderful hotel and the majority of the staff was very very nice just make sure your entire room is clean when you get there and make sure your shower floor isn’t too slick and you don’t trip over the raised and uneven sidewalks

It was lovely. The room was well appointed and all the finishes still felt new. The neighborhood was great and so much was within walking distance.

While the staff was friendly and helpful, the building is old and it looks like they tried to give it a good facelift. The ventilation/air system is horrible. You have to keep it cold for the humidity not to kick in. But then you freeze so you have to turn it down but then the room gets sooooo humid that the floors become slippery. The bathroom had zero ventilation. In addition, the beds were horrible. Not comfortable at all. My husband got sick off of the eggs and sausage from the free breakfast. We will definitely not be staying here again.

Overall it was a decent and very nice review 54 stars because the hotel was so clean and nice. Vincent Jackson room 322.hotel, the breakfast was very good and everyone was pleasant and friendly; however, I found the mattress in my room to be hard and uncomfortable, after talking to staff they put a softer cover on the bed that helped some but that wasn't until the last night of a 3 night stay.theere was no hot water in my room for the entire stay,I had to revert back to my old military days and wash accordingly. I let the hotel receptionist know of this many times but nothing was ever done about it. Iwas surprised because I never experienced this ever at a residence inn anywhere before. I was not offered any room rate reduction or compensation, I found this to be a bit strange. I still give a 4 star re irw

Shuttle service within 3 mile radius was really helpful. Both the drivers Brad and Kayla, were friendly and always ready to help. 1000/10 for them.

This is always a great MARRIOTT chain, and they did amazingly well considering that a major access road to the hotel is now under construction. It was difficult to gain access, but once the detour signs were located, it was fine.

I’ve stayed here in the past which was why I chose this hotel again. Unfortunately, this stay was not great. I had to move rooms right away because the A/C unit sounded like it was about to come through the wall every time it turned on or off. Also, tv was so dark you could barely make out the picture. (Settings are not adjustable-locked). My second room- counter top had several stains, as did the toilet seat if you can believe that! It was gross. I sanitized it myself but why wouldn’t they just replace it?! Body soap dispenser also did not work. Bathroom did not have a fan so floor was wet for quite some time from condensation after a shower. Breakfast was great when I’ve stayed in the past- no good this time around. Burnt food and repetitive choices. Even day old fruit leftovers (which was very obvious). I will choose somewhere else next trip.

Excellent breakfast. The staff was outstanding. The room's television did not work the first night and the front desk clerk spent extensive time troubleshooting and escalating the outage. The room's heating, cooling and fan did not respond to the in-room thermostat.

Room was clean. Comfortable bed. Basic hotel breakfast. Lots of parking. Had A/C issue quickly resolved by a really nice technician. Close to 9th St where there’s lots of restaurants. Vin Rouge was delicious and JuJu. Would stay here again.

There was hardly anyone working and it was difficult to get in touch with the front desk. Gave us a queen when we reserved a king and tried to argue that it was a king. Also gave us a pack and play, not a crib, that was very dirty with just a hotel sheet folded in the bottom.

The air conditioner was not working for the whole night and I find the bugs in the bed

Poorly designed rooms. Poor cleaning. Good breakfast. Good parking. Efficient staff -Daniasia was very helpful.

The rooms are spacious and the location is great in downtown Durham. Easy walk to Duke east. Several good restaurants and ice cream are just a block away. There's a charge for parking here. Breakfast was tasty. I would stay here again.
