Very welcoming front desk and breakfast bar staff.

Good breakfast Staff very helpful

We were actually in Garden City for our nieces wedding.. we drove in Friday night and had reserved a room at the Hampton for Friday and Saturday night but the room was not comfortable… we stayed Friday night (because it was to late to go anywhere else).. but I knew we weren’t staying there Saturday night… long story short.. I called Marriott and explained we were there for a wedding that didn’t start till 4pm but we weren’t happy with where we were at had to check out by 11am and the lady was amazing!! She told me we could check in when we got there and there was no extra charge. The staff was great, the room was very clean and we will definitley be back!! The pool needed some work… we were going to go swim but the water was green looking

Checked in. Took elevator to third floor. Worst smell of my life. Room was disgusting and I have it documented. I’m waiting on a call from your people. I’ve already called

We requested our room to be serviced twice and both times our room was not serviced at all.

Everything was very good except a couple items. The biggest complaint was the quality of the bed. It was very firm and uncomfortable in our opinion. The second was the cooking pots were very old and worn. There was a very dirty bowl in the cabinet which has me question what the cleaning process of the dishes are between tenants.

I just want to mention the desk clerk, Dade. He was so helpful and kind and seemed sincerely interested in making sure I had a convenient room and a pleasant stay. I left at 4 am, and he helped me take my things to my car. In an era when public-facing staff seem increasingly complacent, bored, or downright rude, as is often my experience in hotels, Dade was a breath of fresh air.

Breakfast was the best part, although the coffee wasn't great. Lots of good food options on the buffet. Our room never did cool down to where we wanted it. Room was clean and bed was fine.

The room was clean and comfortable; the staff friendly and helpful; the breakfast plentiful; however, the pool was disgusting. We chose the property for our two grandchildren to swim. It was disappointing. If the pool was cleaned and maintained, I would not only recommend the hotel but book again.

I like the topping options for the oatmeal. Location was clean. The bed was comfortable. We slept on the top floor which was quiet. The desk was nice and accommodating. I wished the oatmeal was prepared and not an instant bowl. There was no fresh fruit available. There we not hard boiled eggs. The spread was good for hearty eaters. No dispenser for juice or water. The bathroom in our room had some water damage that needs to be better repaired.

Staff is very helpful and friendly, but we had a few issues with our room. Bathtub drain was plugged so water didn't drain, plus there was no instructions on TV remote. When I told front desk staff about the problems they did have maintenance come and reboot the TV system and fixed the bathtub drain problem within a couple hours so that was good. Swimming pool was very dirty, didn't look like it had been cleaned in a couple weeks. Also a lot of traffic noise on the front side of hotel. I don't know that I'd stay here again, however the staff was super nice and it's clean, other than the outdoor pool.

The suite was nice and spacious.

Staff was very friendly The parking is VERY crowded and the parking lot is a DISASTER! The potholes and tight parking spaces, which were quite limited, made you nervous about having your car in their lot.
