The proximity to the beach and Waikiki shopping was good. Try not to stay on the west side. There is a right club underneath that has people going in and out till about 5am. The air-conditioning would shudder - alot - and wake us up

Hotel is going through major renovations so if that doesn’t bother you then this place was nice. Convenient to Waikiki and the shops and restaurants. Our renovated room was beautiful. A little disappointed that the fitness center wasn’t available due to renovations.

We enjoyed our stay at the Outrigger Beach Resort in Waikiki very much. The staff were amazing and friendly. We got a free upgrade to a beautiful suite because of the hotel going through some renovations but it didn’t impede our stay at all because we were barely in the room during the day. And at night there was free entertainment at the resort at the DUKE’S Restaurant and beach bar. From our room we could hear the music and watch the hula dancing. It was so cool! The food at the restaurants was amazing and delicious. I highly recommend making reservations a few days ahead of time because it is so busy every night and if you don’t want to wait for an hour + for a table you need to make a reservation. The beach in front of the Outrigger is probably one of the best beaches in Waikiki. I highly recommend staying at the Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort!!!

The property is great and Duke's is always world class! The reception person checking us in was super rude and had absolutely NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. His attitude was denigrating and made us feel like we were wasting his time! I spoke to the manager on duty who was amazingly nice and accommodating. She offered me an incentive which I turned down, I just wanted this person to be put on notice so that others would not go through the ringer I went through just to check in! I have worked in customer service for over 40 years so I know which way is up on the subject.

They need to have separate pools for adults and children. The pool was closed for an entire day because some infant urinated and deficated in the pool. With all the construction going on I really don't think this is too much to ask. It was gross!
-
They are going thru some construction currently. It didn’t interfere with our 7night stay but you may want to call ahead if that would bother you

The King bed looked out to the ocean, nice way to wake up. The only issue was the TV's did not work. But who goes to Waikiki to watch TV? The entire property is under going a year long renovation, so there was limited elevators, no lobby and construction noise M-F. The on-site ABC store shut down too. Dukes and the Hulu Grill were excellent, as was the entire staff. It would have been 5 Stars across except for the renovation. Can't wait until they are finished.
-
Construction always seem to hurt ratings but that was my only complaint. The staff was friendly and helpful.

After a long trip that had to be changed from going to Kauai at the last minute, the outrigger beach resort gave us the best alternate vacation. The staff was so friendly and accommodating, the property is right on the beach pool side service on point and great food was had at Dukes and the Hula grill. Prime location on Waikiki.

The resort was under construction. The resort didn't let us know until we were there; there was a lot of noise
-
Great time. Easy check in.
-
The renovation that was not disclosed to me!!!

Beach front with great time. Prime location. Drinks and food fantastic. It was under construction. And the water was dripping for the air conditioner, but I understand because of the heat.

The Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort was a great blend of location to beach, amenities, restaurants and overall great place to stay.

The bathroom area is tiny, the TV system regularly needs to be reset or else become totally unresponsive, While you get 2 free pods of coffee everyday, sometimes the cleaners don’t replace them all. The elevators have an annoying system where you enter a room number before being assigned an elevator. The elevators can take up to five minutes to arrive, and when they all work (which was rare during out stay), you have to sometimes run to catch up be as it was situated around a corner and would be leaving too quickly.
-
loved the location and the view from oceanfront room, the ABC store in the lobby was very convenient, comfortable beds we were not informed about ongoing construction starting early morning and lasting all day nor compensated, one morning i was woken up by a power tool at 4am, the shower is outdated, there were items under the dresser from previous guests, the pool area needs a refurbishment, dukes is also overpriced and has terrible margaritas, and the lifts can be very slow

Our 2nd trip to Outrigger and still loved it just as much as the first risk. We were bummed with the renovations, we couldn’t upgrade our room, no Spa, and the ABC store closed while we were there. No biggie about the ABC store, they are everywhere! Staff was so friendly as always and with all of the renovations they tried to keep it as clean as possible. We can’t wait to go back to see the improvements!

Such a beautiful place!! See you next year!!
-
The pool was tiny did not look like the picture at all. Under construction loud. Could not get into any of the bars for drinks the only thing good was the view. Will never stay here again

Location Unfortunately whilst undergoing renovations was noisy dusty/dirty
