Beautiful hotel. Excellent location.
-
Close to the beach!
-
The bathroom door was frosted, so that the light in the bathroom shone into the room. Very bright, when someone was trying to sleep. The water in the shower wasn’t very hot, only warm
-
During our stay, we were offered two options regarding balcony access due to ongoing repairs. Unfortunately, the front desk staff member, Kevin, was very impatient while we were trying to make our decision. He rushed us and did not give us the time we needed to choose.
-
The property is conveniently located to the beach. However they are doing construction so you basically need to be out of your room from 9 am to 4 pm on weekdays.
-
This hotel is ok but needs a little maintenance. The rooms are spacious and clean. The advantage is that you are across the street from the beach which is very convenient.
-
The hot tub was amazing , LOOOOVED our whole trip. Room was perfect.
-
Very clean, has a pool, and right in front of the beach, our room was cleaned daily on a 5 night stay!

Loved breakfast at Kuhio Grill and staff were amazing. Kid friendly, will bring grandkids next time.

Wonderful experience!

Nice hotel. Front desk staff was very friendly. We attended the hotel's luau and it was fun. Because the luau was held outdoors on the 3rd floor terrace, we were afraid that it would rain on us due to rain earlier in the day but the weather held up. All good!

Good location, our room was updated and nice. Parts of the property seemed a little dated.

This was easily the best experience I’ve ever had at a hotel. The room itself was very spacious and the balcony was awesome. The room service was so good, as were all the employees. The pool was amazing! There were great amenities—free beach chairs or boogie boards and unlimited towels to use. Cute shops within the hotel as well. The location was PRIME for beach-going and was very walkable to most everything else. I would 100% stay here again no question!!

The place is pretty clean. But it could use some updating, and everything is expensive
-
First room we got was very ugly. Had blood stains or some kind of red stains on the blinds. And the view was of construction. Had to complain about the room to get a room move. Second room was better. Room attendants were good.

Everything was fantastic.
-
Very pleased beautiful property. Ideal vacation stay. The hospitality suite is very convenient and helpful before we had to depart to the airport. Highly recommended
-
It is also directly across the street from the beach. I highly recommend.

I love that the staff recognize us returning guest of their hotel. Ryan and the crew at the pool bar are absolutely amazing! I ‘ll say from the minute we drive up to the hotel and are greeted by the valet to bell guys and check it just feels like we chose the right place to do our staycation. Every staff member we come across is so warm and welcoming. It’s definitely a family place and they also take care of the kamaaina’s. Mahalo again to Waikik Beach Marriott Resort and Spa entire staff.

Overall, I really enjoyed your hotel. Over the past three months while visiting Honolulu, I have stayed at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort and Spa, Ala Moana Hotel by Mantra, and the 'Alohilani Resort Waikiki Beach. Of those properties, I found your hotel to be one of my favorites in terms of the overall experience and service. However, the biggest issue was the room assigned to me, Room 510. While I understood that the room did not have a balcony, I was very surprised by its location and view. The room directly faced the parking garage, and throughout the day and night I was subjected to constant noise from vehicles entering the garage, accelerating around the corners, and screeching their tires. In all of my years of travel, I can honestly say this was one of the two worst room locations I have ever experienced. I was genuinely surprised that a room with this type of configuration and exposure to noise would be assigned to a guest without any prior warning. That said, my concern is not with the hotel overall, which I truly enjoyed, but specifically with the location and quality of this particular room. I hope management will review this room assignment and consider either disclosing the limitations more clearly or taking steps to mitigate the noise impact for future guests.
