So close to M D Anderson! It seem kind of old and dated. The breakfast was lackluster.

The first night I stayed which it was a total of 4 nights my hotel room door had the problem of not opening after I went and shared this with the front desk I was changed to another room which had some no problems The scenery in the medical district

Tv didn’t work, parking lot was full of trucks. Doors to gain access thru the sides didn’t work they had rocks so the door wouldn’t close

The property is old, needs repair; however, if you take into consideration the age, the area, the staff, the amenities, and the pricing, it was a much needed reprieve for anyone spending some time in the medical center for therapy. Well done. Don’t let first appearances taint needed rest on a budget.

Larger room The bathroom trash can was not emptied from prior guest. Sink had no trap to prevent things from falling in the drain. Door flip over lock was not fully screwed in and was ultimately worthless. I had no way to tighten it myself. Advertised CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST was a Nutri Grain bar and hot cocoa packet. No hot water provided for the cocoa and no coffee at all! Front desk was not staffed any other time but check in that I saw in my coming and goings. Could not find anyone in order to fix the the door lock and had to leave the room key on the unattended front desk on my departure.

I chose this hotel for value, location, and amenities. It is within walking distance of the hospital where I had appointments, so we did not have to worry about driving to or finding parking at the hospital. The kitchenette enabled us to have meals inexpensively and on our schedule. The staff provided all the extras (pans, utensils) needed. This was a great choice for us for accommodations on this trip. The air conditioner left water on the carpet around it, so we avoided walking in that area with bare feet (or socks). This was a minor convenience and easy to work around.

Rooms were nice, side door didn’t open with room card.

2 AC in room. Nice and cool Dirty. Smells like marijuana. I found a dead roach in my room and a bunch of hair on the ground.

The lobby was ok. The price was good. The rooms had been updated to a point. There was fresh paint on the walls, but there was mold on the bathroom ceiling. The carpets were filthy. There were bugs in bed (not traditional bedbugs). The chair was broken. The Lobby was the only place that seemed clean and more modern.
