Holiday Inn Express & Suites Irving Conv Ctr - Las Colinas by IHG

I booked this hotel for a concert at the Toyota Music Factory after reading previous reviews with positive comments. I do not typically leave reviews, but in this case, I felt like the previous reviews were not at all accurate with my experience and wanted others to be aware. Upon entering the hotel, the first thing I noticed was the extremely dirty floors and very worn chairs in the main lobby/dining area. There was a bug running across the floor of the lobby. The staff member was friendly, and there were no issues checking in. The hotel is located close to the TMF. However, to get there, you have to walk down a side road path and then walk across a bridge where there is traffic and no walking path. Not a safe route at all, especially at night after a concert with lots of cars exiting the area. There is a huge drainage ditch behind the hotel so no other walking options. The room itself was in great disrepair with a cabinet that was only halfway attached to the wall, trim pieces that were loose and a stained bathtub. Luckily, we were there for 12 hours and only needed a place to sleep for the night and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was a great draw for us so we could grab a bite before heading out. However, the hot items were HORRIBLE. The eggs were cooked like a pancake and had no taste. The biscuits were cold. Luckily, there was some cereal and "non-cooked" bagel/bread and fruit options. We left wishing we had chosen a different option for our stay.

IF GOING TO CONVENTION CENTER: You have to walk across a freeway to get there. It’s very awkward. Great Hotel though!

We had a great experience here. The stuff was very helpful and the place was of great quality. It is walking distance from the Toyota Factory which is extremely convenient. For sure is a great place to stay at.

I never got my $50 deposit back ,I have call front desk a week later and the said the release my deposit ,but never got it back on my card

They are having construction on building adjacent, prevent walking.

We have stayed here many times especially for Irving Convention Center events and Toyota Music Factory concerts. Rooms are large and comfortable, great location, staff is welcoming and a nice variety for breakfast.

NOTHING! Customer service was the worst! I walked in and was greeted with an attitude told me to wait mine you no one was in line. Unacceptable who want to stay in a place when treated horrible. Also when I canceled because of this you decided to charge me like I stayed. I will be reporting this as a theft.
