Hyatt Place Atlanta/Duluth/Johns Creek

PRO- Great value with clean, spacious rooms/suites. CON- Some rooms had paper thin walls where you can hear everything next door.

It’s beautiful! We had the most gorgeous view of the lake behind us & even the festival that was going on. We had a nice, shaded to park every time. It was very clean - everything was super clean, I check!

I've booked here on MULTIPLE occasions. It's my go-to location when in the area. The parking has changed, which I was disappointed in. We normally parked in those spots until they turned to an event/boardwalk parking pay here. Not a fan of the newly renovation. Wished they would've kept the original look and just add in hardwood floors. Bathroom door has been through war, should've been replaced when the handle is loose... The dresser and closet location is not ideal. You have to walk around the TV area to grab your clothing items. The stay was pleasant (ish). We had neighbors who would slam their door in the middle of the night, which isn't the hotels problem.

I liked the spacious, clean room and the well located property. The check-in process was efficient, but the front desk representative was sullen and perfunctory. No greeting whatsoever. Also, while the room was large, the bathroom was tiny. I had to step into the shower to close the door.

Check in was okay, I know most hotels have check in after 2 or 3 o’clock in the afternoon but after driving 5 hours last minute trip for a day wish they would let customers check in earlier to settle in. Front desk worker was nice, room was clean BUT extremely cold at 50 degrees full blast air conditioning, had to turn it off while we went to function we were in town for by the time we got back to the room it was at the temperature we liked. We had to check out at 6:30am to head back on the road no one was at front desk early in the morning, what they do is leave a jar for customers to leave key cards, I was really looking forward to the breakfast but they didn’t open until 7am, most hospitals start service around 6am. Other than that clean hotel, wouldn’t mind staying again for a last minute day trip.

The room large and clean it had all we needed, the staff was very accommodating I have a disability and they went above and beyond to get me to a comfortable room about the breakfast warm and delicious I had no problem with parking overall my stay was excellent.
