The motel is very well kept, very clean, just more or less five minutes away. Really liked the implementation of using a code to open the motel door and the day of departure, the code expires at 11 am. So convenient. No elevator. We had to carry our baggage up the stairs. Not feasible for older adults and no help available.

This motel is only staffed for a few hours a day morning and afternoon. Everything is done online and you are sent a code to get into the door. It felt more like a dorm room than a motel. I have stayed in far worse places, though so it gets 2 stars. I did not think it was worth the cost but I understand that this is Kauai and everything costs more. Saw no evidence of bugs and the towels and beds were clean.

The beds are extremely uncomfortable, so soft that each morning we woke up with an extremw back ache. The rooms are TINY!!!

Unfortunately got cockroaches in my room, the rest was fine, would be useful to make sure everything is fixed accordingly

Mold in shower ceiling. Had to call staff after hours regarding couldn’t get into our room. Toilet not ada hard for my husband to bend down so low

I did not enjoy my stay due to A/C not working in unit 110 and no ceiling fan and it was terribly hot and uncomfortable

The problem was, they did not send me the room number or the code to enter the room. There was no check-in desk to obtain a key to enter the room. When I try to contact the company by the telephone number or by text there was no one to contact to resolve this problem in a timely manner. It took an hour and a half before I received a response to which room was mine and the code to actually access the accommodations.

This is a bare bones place to stay. They give you some soap and shampoo/conditioner and there may have been a hair dryer under the sink. And of course towels and bedding. There was cable and WiFi and AC. No iron or microwave or mini refrigerator. No pool. But it was clean. And there was free parking. Tip Top Restaurant is YUMMY!! Not cheap, but really good!

Very basic. Like a camp cabin. Only messages. Lockbox. No staff on-site. Clean. Minor deferred maintenance. Mini refrigerator didn't work; door didn't close.
