The Westin Baltimore Washington Airport - BWI

Not what I think of when I think of the Westin brand. Large empty spaces. No amenities in bathroom ( like shower cap). Rain shower which you could not avoid getting wet hair. Room clean, but basic ( more like lower end brand). SC fan was noisy snd had 2 setting blower high and higher. Breakfast is not included, but available for cheaper price at time of booking. Not in walking distance of anything. 15-20 minutes from airport by provided shuttle. Fine for me, just not what I expected from other Westin properties.Price was OK.

The atmosphere was truly wonderful and clean from the lobby to the corner tiles in the bathroom shower.

Excellent location close to amenities. Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable.

Some of the staff wasn’t super friendly, but the manager was. The pool was shut down for repairs, but it looks like it’s going to be beautiful. Probably one of the best airport hotels I’ve ever stayed at.

Burning hot water in sink . Air conditioner made loud knocking sound every other minute . Pillows were so flat .stayed three nights restless. Slow drainage at sink.

Room was clean, staff friendly

The first morning of my stay, the entire hotel was without water. They say it was a water main break. The adjoining properties had water. The ladies restroom close to the ballroom we used was constantly closed for repair/ maintenance. The door of the ladies room closest to the kitchen was always open and there were flies in the stall. One of the front desk staff members verbally assaulted a guest in the lobby accusing her of taking pictures of the property. The safe in the room did not work. They brought in a new one and set it on the table under the television. The breakfast hostesses, housekeepers in our room and Jason at the front desk were wonderful.

Staff was very friendly and helpful, we were in the area for a medical visit. Easy airport shuttle.Had a quick lunch in the restaurant. There was an issue with the water lines but that was addressed and tended to quickly. Melissa the manager was very informative and apologetic about the issue

Rooms are nice, but look older. No pool sadly, but the staff was amazing.
