The view from our room was amazing. I like the location. And it was generally good enough. More like a private hostel feel than a 4 star hotel vibe We were lucky had a staff member who could help with the door code. But we had a few issues to begin with.

They have bedbugs I’ve contacted them to let them know the issue as well as Expedia, I also would like everyone to proceed with caution.

My AC/heater did not work the entire time. They never switched my room. The hot water wasn’t working. The staff was so unhelpful. They did not honor the “do not disturb” sign … it was awful.

There is absolutely nothing good about this hotel. Its a place setup to rip off all guests. The most horrible hotel. Period. 1. When we checked in the fridge and the floor wasn't clean. There was old stuff in the fridge and the floor was sticky with crumbs on the floor. 2. The main ceiling light is not working 3. The safe is not accessible 4. There was no room services that happened  for 3 days even after repeated complaints This level of service is extremely poor and not acceptable. After multiple complaints nothing was done about it. We had 2 young kids and we were made to stay in these conditions without any support. There is noone at the front desk. The customer support team is clueless and sit out of India and have no understanding of the reality on the ground. Plus they also shared our room entry pass codes with other guests as we found them trying to check into our room. Can you imagine that when you have kids with you ?? That is harassment and vreach of privacy and I will be reporting it to the authorities. They should be stripped off their license

Clean and comfortable The fire alarm would go off at random times including 4:30 one morning. Also some people on my floor were playing loud music until early hours and they weren’t asked to stop.

I usually come to this hotel and no issues but this time the room I booked was not available. The new room was not clean then the tv and the ax were not working. Had to get moved to another room. The manager was helpful and tried to accommodate as much as possible.

For $200+ a night, including a $35/night resort fee on stays under 7 nights, this is shocking. Don't let the former Sonder photos and name fool you: standards are near zero. Pay extra for a reputable chain. Our shower was clogged for 3 of our 5 nights. We messaged the property through Expedia twice, called customer service twice and spoke to the front desk. Each time we heard that staff were aware and it would be handled. There was no case number and no follow-up. Issues get handed off until the guests leave. Only when Expedia pressed on our behalf did anything happen. If you need action, go through Expedia. Staff also entered our room twice while the Do Not Disturb sign was up, saying guests complain otherwise. The right approach is a slip under the door and a photo of the sign. Entering without permission is unsafe and a breach of trust. And the forced cleaning was poor: hair on the floors, stained towels, and the bed made one day but not the next. Management: hire people who care (especially in the call center), build accountability and get better systems. And please don't take interview calls on speaker in public areas around guests.

Pretty sure this place has bed bugs… I stayed up all night itching.

  • Engine customer Sep 2026

The room was clean and large enough, and the location is easy to the train station. The room was incredibly noisy - I could hear everything from the hallway, rooms around me and outside all night long. The luggage lockers were broken and the front desk is sporadically staffed.

the deli around the corner was good one day before arriving you get a mail that they charge extra 35 USD per night per person. You have to pay or you can not get the access code. There is hardly any staff at the hotel, all is done by codes. They dont give you proof of payment, or any invoice. I have requested an invoice wherever i could. They dont use mail, if you call they say they will sed it but they dont do it. And - lastly- when i got my room and codes i entered a room where already somebody stayed: suitcases, laptop: all in his/her room. The friendly cleaning ladies helped me out. But this made me doubt who can access my room when i am not there. There was no (working) safe in my room. This whole staffless concept is not working for guests. Sure it works for the owner to keep costs to a minimum.

Manager Naveen had been of great during extending my stay.. he is the best. The room with manhattan view is amazing!!

  • Engine customer Sep 2026

The staff that I ran into were very nice. The room was clean and the AC worked. We spent 5 days here and we had a nice time. We had a view of Manhattan. There are a lot of restaurants and a couple of coffee shops not far as well. From here an uber into Manhattan ran 30 to 50 dollars depending on the time of day. Overall this was a very nice place. We would stay here again no problem at all.

Don’t book! Poorly ran hotel, rooms not ready after they confirm your booking. Ran down and shady behavior. Not safe for a solo traveler.

  • Engine customer Sep 2026

contactless check in problematic. add to that the hidden fee of 35 dollars per night facilities fee. feels like a bait and switch and a rip off

  • Engine customer Sep 2026

This is Not a good option!

Excellent location and comfort. Good value for money.
