very quiet clean and good service stayed before and will stay again

The pillows were comfortable. The hot tub was out of order and was the main reason I chose this hotel. There was also only one working elevator. I was also disappointed that there was no microwave in the room.

Only one elevator was working. I spent 4 nights there and my room was never cleaned or even had the towels replaced. The restaurant was a joke. Certainly not worth $204 per night.

Comfortable spacious room. The hotel was full but it was very quiet. There was not a black out curtain, just a sheer curtain in an east facing room. This didn’t bother me but if I had been traveling with my spouse it would have been a problem.

The place was a dump.

Location The room air ducts/air conditioner was full of mold. Beds were uncomfortable a made poorly. Fans blowing in hallways where carpet was ruffled from moisture - trip hazard!! Drain in shower was open/undone! Front desk staff was not helpful. I expect a refund!!

For the most part everything was good The hot tube in the pool area did not work while we were staying there.

I'm surprised this is allowed to be an IHG property. We stay here on infrequent visits to Madison because of the price, the great value breakfast (extra $12 for 2 people), the wonderfully comfy beds and variety of pillows offered, and because it's very close to family in Sun Prairie. It's in dire need of refurbishing. The housekeeping staff do the best job possible given how "tired" everything is. The window air conditioners do work fine, but they're noisy and reek of mildew. The hallway carpeting has needed replacing (dangerous "hills" in it where it's so worn and stained). The grill closes at 6pm except for frozen pizza you can buy in the bar until 9pm. The mail desk clerk was surly--clearly hates being there. On check-in, he neglected to give us vouchers for the breakfast we paid for so we almost paid twice for breakfast. Then we waited 3 hours for him to find a box of kleenex and a couple of light bulbs and bring them to the room. I can't imagine they'll still be in business by our next trip.

The free breakfast is nice. The french toast was definitely undercooked, but I gladly took advantage of the buffet. Room was nice and was clean. It looked like it had a closet, but the doors didn't open. Having a blow dryer in the bathroom is always good. Fridge but no microwave. I kept tripping on the carpet on the third floor because it was pretty severely loose and wrinkled near the elevator.

The rooms were close together and close to the location we needed to be at. Our rooms all had a musty smell to them. My floor/carpet was damp. We did not receive the breakfast voucher at check in.

Breakfast was well done with friendly, helpful staff. Front desk was beyond unhelpful and did not treat us with any decency. They did not provide shuttle they promised, then did not call taxi for us they said they would. Stuck outside airport with wheelchair and 5 large luggage with no help from hotel getting there and none when we got there. They truly do not care.

I had a good solid stay. The location was perfect for my need, the room clean and the bed comfy. However, this property is beginning to be visibly frayed around the edges—tired carpets, stained and worn furniture in both the lobby and the rooms. It is due for some replacements.
