Hampton Inn & Suites Marina

We had to pay an extra $10 for parking, for some unknown reason. The front desk clerk said all the polite words, I'll give her credit for that. But her face didn't show it. The tub was the biggest complaint. It was extremely difficult to turn off so it would stop dripping. The shampoo was out too. We love Hampton Inns, but this didn't quite measure up.

Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were all friendly. We used the exercise room and grills, both were great. Breakfast was fantastic and one of the best I’ve had at a hotel. The location is across from an amazing kids park and close to the Monterey recreation trail. There’s a Walmart across the street and the beach is about a ten minute walk

We absolutely loved our stay at the Hampton Inn Marina! The desk agent was so funny and so helpful, breakfast was tasty with a wide variety of options , the price was so much less than downtown Monterey and the room was clean and comfortable.

Great staff and room quality. Biggest complaint is the placement of the tv. Was hard to watch shows when TV was faced adjacent from the bed. Otherwise everything was great

I did not like what I was charged at checkout. As I recall, I booked the room at $375.00 per night (2 nights), and I was charged way more than that.

It was good value for the accommodation. Not much stuff around but it was okay. It was dog friendly which mattered to us and they serve hot breakfast.

Additional FEE for parking don’t agree to have to pay for parking not mentioned in booking the Hotel Carpet had dirty spots not sure if it was blood?? Top sheet very worn could see through it lil torn chicken sausage horrible only one staff was very busy needed extra help staff did a great job didn’t ask for housekeeping came into room any way got towels and wash cloths for four in the morning which we booked for 3 adults 1 child when we came back housekeeper only left us two wash cloths ??
