Excellent teamwork

While the location wasn't where I thought it was, that was my fault. The room was clean and updated. And it was still accessible to the Monterey Bay Aquarium which was our intent for the morning. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

Was given a room that was already occupied, apparently they had given my room to someone else already. Gave me a room with one bed when I had paid for two, and finally had it remedied about an hour later.

The fundamentals are in place, but the details are seriously lacking considering the nightly rate charged ($400 is incredibly overpriced). The small complaints: No cups/glasses/trays in the bathroom vanity area - only flimsy plastic or styrofoam coffee cups in the whole room. The tub drain was broken and required us to mess with it. The gym is incredibly small, as is the jacuzzi. No EV charger on site or nearby. The TV in room doesn’t allow you access to log into your own as apps - a wish because the cable/satellite package available is extremely limited and very slow and clunky to navigate. The positives: Staff were all kind and friendly. Breakfast was well tended and had a nice assortment of options. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The room was a very nice size and super clean. The furniture all in good shape and functional.

Staff was friendly and helpful with directions. located near a nice trail by the library. convenient to beaches near by and local stores. breakfast was tasty and coffee was great.
