Ayres Hotel & Spa Mission Viejo – Lake Forest

Was expecting a more lavish place.

Quiet for the most part. Clean. Good location. Unfortunately had noisy people in the floor above us one evening.

Also the staff at the front desk need to smile!! Both, the lady we met on Monday evening at check-in and the gentleman on Tuesday morning at the front desk do not smile. This is customer service and when customer service poeple don't smile it feels weird. On the other hand the ladies and the one gentleman who were helping with the breakfast were smiley and very nice.

Rooms were clean. staff was friendly and breakfast every morning was a total plus.

The staff is very nice. The hotel is quite isolated though. No real good food for lunch (apart from an ok taco place) or coffee options around. Overall, great option if you want a hotel with a great pool at a good price. There’s also a spa that has decent prices for massages etc but I didn’t try it.

That old lady served there not good. If she still there at the breakfast bar, staring at customers like that they will not book that hotel. Customers want to enjoy their breakfast without people looking at them ever moved.

We had a power outage for 3 hours in the middle of the night. My mom needs oxygen and I use a CPAP. When I called down to the front desk I was told he didn’t know was caused it. These are medical machines and it was horrible to be without power for 3 hours. I’m surprised the hotel allowed this to happen. We also slept until 9 am because of our lack of sleep and missed breakfast. I was told we just missed it with no flexibility to help us. The sofa bed is also horribly uncomfortable.

Staff friendly & helpful when I had questions. My room was clean & well decorated, The outdoor courtyard was a fun place to relax. It was so inviting out there. I appreciated the morning breakfast each day. Always a nice stay!

Power was out more than half the time I was at the hotel. My room got so uncomfortably warm I went and slept in my vehicle. Waste of money.

It wasnice that they had a pool and I really liked the atrium. Breakfast was very good The gym was a little small.

Front desk was very helpful . My toilet overflowed and the front desk was on it.

This was perfect stay. Room is clean and hotel has everything I need.

The beds were firm and the mattress in the pull-out bed needs to be replaced. The air conditioner was near the window and cooled one side of the room really well, but it didn't cool the area near the door/pull-out bed well enough. The room was clean and spacious.

Great location. Close to toll roads and shopping spots, Starbucks and great restaurants. Clean hotel and rooms. It’s quiet. It always smells nice when you walk in. Staff is very friendly. We’ve stayed there 4 times already in the last year. It’s pricey. At over $200 a night it’s on the pricey side but I think it’s worth it.

Breakfast was ok but it would be nicer if there was a chef there to make fresh eggs or omelettes. But the main person made her own salsa!! She was very nice and friendly!!! Front desk got us early check in and top floor corner room. Great location!!!! All staff friendly!
